I have a Clarett octopre but was wondering what else I should look into. Debating getting a four or eight channel Focusrite ISA pre. Was also wondering if it would just make sense to get something like an audient or splurge for a 12mic down the road.

What’s everybody’s thoughts on this? Anything else I should look into?

I have this old 442 that I wanted to play around with. It works via AA battery, but when I plug it into the wall, the power light blinks green, which makes me nervous to leave. It turned on. Anybody know what’s going on or what would cause this?
