I’m already obsessed. The size is perfect, and this case makes it feel even more special. 🏰🐉
I know the “obvious” choice is the Air M3. In my country they’re almost the exact same price (around $690), so price isn’t really the deciding factor.
The problem is… I already have a MacBook Air M4. I don’t need my iPad to replace a laptop. I just want something I can always keep with me for note-taking, reading, web browsing, light sketching, and maybe learning Procreate for fun.
I used to own an 11” tablet, and I barely touched it because it was just annoying to carry around. It mostly sat on a shelf collecting dust. That’s why the Mini’s size is really appealing to me.
Another thing I’m a little worried about is the 60Hz display. I’m so used to the 120Hz screen on my iPhone that I’m afraid both iPads might feel a bit sluggish. Did any of you get used to it quickly, or does it still bother you?
My only hesitation with the Mini is the chip. Am I overthinking it? Is the Mini powerful enough for what I want, or would you still go with the Air M3?
Also, if you use the Apple Pencil Pro, have you had any issues with the side of the iPad or the Pencil getting scratched where they magnetically attach?
Is that actually a thing, or am I just overthinking it? 😅
