Question about adoption

I was adopted at age 9 after my parents died. Both parents were born in the United States . Fathers parents were Canadian , Grandmother's parents also Canadian. So, I have spent the last few months gathering birth, marriage documents, and adoption records. I am currently waiting for the BanQ for my grandparents' records.

I am unsure which document I need to fill out. The Cit0001 or another?

I understand it makes a difference if you were adopted by Canadian parents, verces American.

Confused about results

I am American, and my mothers family goes back to the Colonies and to Nova Scotia . My father was from Quebec, identifying himself as French Canadian

Like my mother's side, I have hundreds of years of church records backing up my lineage.

However, as it can be seen, my results show no American or Canadian ???

My mother is 100% my natural mother.

When clicking on the northwestern european, it only shows France in green. Is this just how ancestry is doing it these days? I had seen others with Canadian or American markers.
