I think the baby playtime set would look adorable in a pastel color scheme as well
Reasons: First of all, she's a toy sheep with a bow and a tutu. It doesn't get much better than that. Second, she's a really good example of conventional feminine design done right. The traits often thrown at female animated animals like pink coloration, bows, and eyelashes aren't actually bad design by default, they just become bad when used solely to mark a character as "the girl one" rather than treated like actual design elements. (Think wendy koopa, Angel from Lilo and Stitch, etc) Lambie's elements are designed to be cohesive and communicate her character and interests. Her pink and white color scheme and round shape language marks her as friendly, huggable, and comforting, while her bow and matching tutu show her interest in fashion and ballet. She wears a variety of accessories and outfits throughout the series tailored to her current situation. It's a shame she isn't more popular due to being from a preschool show (which, for the record, is one of the best to get stuck watching while babysitting) because she's genuinely one of my favorite Disney designs.
Hello! I am staying in Japan, and having a hard time finding toy/secondhand stores, does anyone have any recommendations? I will be visiting Tokyo, Kyoto, and Osaka.
I understand that the largest pterosaurs lacked long tails, but how big could the ones with tail vanes get?
Explanation: The RBA redesigns just feel wrong to me on a fundamental level in a way that none of the other aligned redesigns do. The eyes and face shapes are completely altered, and certain parts are colored wrong altogether. Blades looks like he was shoved in a hydraulic press, Chase feels like he's being forced to mask, and they didn't even try with Bumblebee. Even if they're technically more expressive, they just don't have any of the charm the originals did. Its like giving Wall-e or Eve mouths. Throw in writing that pretty much wipes their original characterization and the replacement of all the original voice actors, (with Blades's Punjabi voice actor being replaced by a white one-yikes) and you've got 13 year old me introduced to Theseus's paradox in the shittiest way they could imagine.
