It's Happening! Mami hitting the mainstream
I know a lot of people may not like Sloan and find him click baity, but I enjoy his content.
Scroll to the 20:24 mark when he starts on Hilaria.
It's about her eating disorder but he goes off about her lying ass and says he has a video coming soon about Bellygate.
Tooth cracked /crown recommended
I apologize if this is long, I’m very frustrated.
Most my young life, I didn’t have access to proper dental care. Parents couldn’t afford it. It wasn’t until I was an adult with my own insurance that I started going to the dentist regularly.
My first adult visit to the dentist was when I was 24, (I’m 43) and it was brutal. I had 16 cavities all in the molars. They were filled with metal/amalgum(?) fillings, and have never given me issues. I have a root canal/crown on one molar, and a few inlays that replaced the some metal fillings over the years where a cavity developed.
Since then, I’ve always had good dental hygiene. Floss after every meal, brushing, water pik, etc.
I went to the dentist today for a routine checkup. They told me my metal fillings expand/contract with the heat and can cause the tooth to crack. She implied the one tooth below is cracked and I should immediately get a crown.
I have concerns that they’re trying to upsell me but not entirely sure. This tooth, although looks funky, has never given me any problems. Doesn’t hurt. Feels heat/cold things no problem.
I’ve probably spent over 5k at this dentist (been going there for 2 years) - had a retreatment of a root canal with crown, a laser deep treatment, fluoride, which were either not covered or barely covered.
I once saw an out of network dentist for a dental emergency who told me that there’s nothing wrong with metal fillings.
No health problems. I drink white wine. Never smoked.
In the photo: I’ve always had that little circle at the bottom right. Dentist said it’s was a cavity that never progressed but doesn’t need treatment. I circled the area of the “crack”
Any insight or advice would be appreciated
