Maqwell for FIFA president?

Yes it will mean that probably Arsenal always win, Vietnam will forever have a place in the world cup (can't complain since I'm Viet too), and the USA get into the quarterfinals somehow but I sure know that our Lord and savior, Goonerwell, will never sell out the World Cup to the highest bidder like the gay, ginger, Qatari, and migrant worker Infantino has.

Frances missing factor: very workman midfield but without magic from deep from a player like Pogba

I want to start off by stating that France have once again done well enough to get to the semifinals. However, given the current crop of French players, this is a minimum expectation. Besides the obvious defense gaffe in matching up an aging left back against one of the hottest left footed wingers in world football, I also felt that this current France team currently have a hole that they have not been able to fill since 2020. By that I mean Paul Pogba. Being a United fan, I saw the best and the worst of Pogba but with France, he never really put a foot wrong and when played in a pivot midfield under Deschamps, he was the deep lying creator that glued this French team together. That was found sorely lacking as France lacked any rhythm or control against Spains midfield. Anybody felt the same way?

Maguire > Stones

Literally watching Stones buckling under pressure from Haaland makes me question why Tuchel didn't go for Maguire. One has had more game time and is more fit while the other has been frozen out from City after his injuries.
