A zine about autism and late diagnosis

This zine is a collection of drawings I did in the last year following my autism diagnosis. It really helped me come to terms with it, and I hope other people find it relatable too!

Posting my favourite pages, as it'll be on my etsy eventually. Whenever I have energy!

My paper copy!

I prefer to have physical copies of checklists, so I transferred the spreadsheet into my bullet journal! I was so salty after Civil War that I didn't watch anything again until last year 😂 am slowly catching up

My mum and I like to watch everything together so I can't binge anything! We just finished Moon Knight today, really enjoyed it

Gimme ur ice cream

17 yo boy demands my (dairy free) ice cream. He gets what he wants ❤️

He also demanded my curry and rice, he did not get any of that

Neighbourhood Pawtrol

Every time I take my senior cat outside, the trouble twins from next door like to subtly spy on him. He pretends not to see them

They're only one and completely obsessed with my boy!

Hospital must-have items?

Hiya, I'm having major surgery soon and not sure how long they'll keep me in hospital for. I've done lots of research about the actual surgery and have sent research/advice to the surgical team, so I'm all prepared there

However I wondered if there's any items to take that I haven't thought of? (My relevant conditions are ME, POTS, Small Fibre Neuropathy, autism and coeliac disease

So far I've got:

- Earplugs and noise cancelling headphones

- Eye mask

- Hospital passport (autism service are providing this)

- Emergency gluten free snacks

- Compression socks

- Blanket (in case sheets are sensory nightmare)

- Small portable fan (I overheat so easily and hospitals are boiling. Is it too much to take my portable Meaco fan? It's battery powered)

- Electrolytes

- Sign for door saying I have ME and am noise/light sensitive (hospital have approved)

- Neck pillow

I've never stayed in hospital before but I'm also taking:

- Medications

- Pyjamas

- Toothbrush

- Phone charger and wheelchair charger

- Fidget toys for anxiety

- Deodorant

- Hygiene wipes

- Face wipes

Appreciate any ideas or advice, if you have energy!

I'll be adding a luggage tag to my wheelchair as I've heard people having issues them. My mum will be with me and the hospital is local so I'm hoping travel won't be a big issue

Has anyone else's SIC morphed into a shrimp?

I think he's melted from the heat

My Eevee collection!

I get way too much joy out saying "I'm Evie and here's my Eevee's"! I have a budget of no more than £25 per a card, so this is my completed collection for now.

I do have two more cards that I've somehow misplaced 🥲

Card sleeves are from Usagi Draws!

He's such a pretty vintage model

Gabby is 17, sometimes it takes him a while to get the engine running after a long rest

My puffle ita bag and shelf

It's taken a few years to get one of each colour. I need a bigger bag now for the different series ✨️

My next door neighbour has two cats, and they both regularly try to climb in through the window. I feed them sometimes and they really like me. If I go outside they run towards me 🥹

I would let them in, but I have a very grumpy, unwell senior cat who would NOT be impressed. Last time I took my cat outside for some supervised sunbathing, we came back to this adorable gremlin in my kitchen.

Lesson learnt, door stays shut now 💔
