Is it a good idea to do two sleep studies a day?

Hi Sleepers! I’m considering doing a double sleep study every day so I can catch a good Dedenne. I’m currently M5 in OGPP and I have Pokemon go++. Do you think it’s a good idea, or does anyone use this two-sleep-study strategy? I’d like to know if it’s worth it, or if it’s better to just do one full sleep study to get 100 points. My feeling is that I’ll be able to see more sleep postures per day and therefore have a higher chance of catching a Dedenne.

The original TCG Pocket!

I found this gem in the storage room while I was digging around for old keepsakes, and I felt like sharing it with you all (though I’m not sure this is the right place for it). I honestly enjoyed it so much back then, and I still enjoy it the same way I did as a kid with the Mega Rayquaza set. I’m going to Japan next month and I’ll probably buy some related stuff (recommendations welcome if anyone knows about Japan stuff!).

Skill activation %, not raw triggers/day, is the metric that actually matters (Heracross vs Dedenne example)

Quick one on skill trigger rate benchmarking, since I see this question pop up a lot.

People often compare raw "activations per day" across different Pokémon like it means something on its own, but that number is noisy because it depends on how long/good that specific sleep session was. The cleaner metric is the % skill activation chance, since it's normalized and actually reflects the quality of the mon itself.

I ran my Heracross and Dedenne against a theoretical godroll (Cauta nature, STS/STM/HSM subskills, lv50) to see where I actually stand:

Heracross: mine sits at 7.7% vs 8.7% on the godroll → that's 88.5% of max
Dedenne: mine sits at 6.3% vs 8.4% on the godroll → that's 75% of max

So even though both are solid, my Heracross is objectively closer to its ceiling than my Dedenne is. If you use raw activations/day instead (5.49/7.21 and 4.45/6.49) you get a similar picture but not identical, because sleep session length skews it. Worth keeping both numbers in mind so you're not comparing apples to oranges.

General question about Pokémon with Ingredient Draw S as a skill

Good morning Sleepers! I’ve been mulling over a question that’s been on my mind for a while, and it’s about this type of Pokémon with the skill: Ingredient Draw S, like Sandslash, Mawile, Ribombee, or Crustle. My question is whether their minmax would be a spread ABC with subskills STS/STM and IFS/IFM with HSS/HSM. Are they worth it? Maybe it’s better to focus on two ingredients instead of three, or even just one? Is there any guide to keep in mind for this type of strategy? Thanks as always!
