Diminishing Billables During Pregnancy?

For those who worked as lawyers during your pregnancy, how badly were your billables affected, if they were affected? If your billables weren't affected, what were your pregnancy symptoms like?

How long did it take your reputation to recover from decreased billables during pregnancy (if applicable) after you returned from maternity leave?

Somehow, the routine of law school kept me somewhat motivated to put effort in as an intern during my last pregnancy. I interned with the same firm I work for now. However, I am now licensed with a more strict billable requirement and this unplanned pregnancy has me completely drained!! I'm fighting to put my billables in. When not pregnant, I'm productive, efficient, hardworking, and pay attention to details. Now that I'm pregnant again, I'm the complete opposite.

I also have a geriatric pregnancy, so not sure if that's making it worse.

Staying Hydrated in Summer Heat When Water Sucks?

Right now, the drink I tolerate the most without a tremendous amount of calories and sugar is unsweet iced black tea. I love iced black tea but our pesky caffeine limitations is cramping my beverage style.

Does anyone have unsweetened drink suggestions (no fake sugars either) that are pregnancy safe in large quantities that is not plain or carbonated water?

Any pregnancy related comical stories?

During my first pregnancy, I drove through Taco Bell (a pregnant woman's crack). The check out lady saw that I was pregnant and made some type of friendly or positive gesture. I thought it was so sweet that I started to cry.

During my third pregnancy, I had bad constipation and would struggle to pass some of the thickest poops I have ever seen. One day, I struggled and successfully passed a HUGE poop in one of the bathrooms at my law school. The next day, the stall read out of order. That stall remained out of order for over a week. I'm convinced that I was the culprit.

I heard of another pregnant lady who started to cry when her husband and son came in from playing basketball outside. Her husband went to comfort her asking what's wrong. She began crying even more and said, "you smell so bad!" Her husband understood the power of the pregnancy nose and began innocently laughing. He then went to shower.

What are some comical pregnancy stories that you've heard about or experienced yourself?
