I am rewatching Pusher, S3, ep17, in the grocery store and I noticed that he picked upa magazine with an acurate picture of Flukeman. Are the writers nudge, wink the viewers or is this a tribute to Flukeman A.K.A Darin Morgan who writes many beloved episodes? I love Small Potatoes.
I have been a life long fan since the pilot. My 8 year brain was drawn to its uniqueness. I have been watching series 2 recently and picked up the similarities between Grimms episodes. I was surprised how much The Host and 2shy were related to episodes in series 1 of Grimm. The host creature looks like the father of the Lebensauger played by enthusiastic student Ryan Smulson.
It also looks like Amy Acker's character was Lena Marcinko a Tarantella that killed to maintain their looks otherwise their skin would become flakey and aged. The character looked remarkably like in series 3 episode 6 2Shy's Virgil Incanto who spits a substance that is a concentrated digestive enzyme, and dissolves body fat. I can only guess that he eats the body fat.
'7 year itch' series 6 episode 5 also has a Wesen kill curvy females to have enough 'fat' to hibernate for 7 years.
I'm rewatching from the beginning, up to this episode. I'm English and distinctly remember that Mulder and Scully were looking, gazing at each other when the old man, Hal Arden, talked about giving the care home nurse a 'compliment' about her body. They were position facing each other in the foreground, Arden in on the bed. They smiled at the comment, still looking at each other, resulting in him apologising for stepping on Mulder's toes. Did I imagine this?
In which episode does Scully say that Mulder confides to her 'because she is his partner'?
She is at a desk in front of the group of people, mainly white men, who she gives her 'little notes. I thought, it seems to be a surprise to them that that she refers to herself as his partner. Seemed to me that their plan was not going their way.
