I want clicky triggers for my next handheld, do I buy already installed or mod?

I’ve been banging my head on a wall for the last month on what I want to upgrade to from my current emulator, a Logitech g cloud. I finally narrowed it down to the retroid pocket 6 or the Ayn Odin portal 2. and just when I think I’ve finally decided on the Odin portal 2 because of the bigger screen, a thought popped into my brain over an option I never thought about. I hate the L2 and R2 triggers on my g cloud because they are not mouse click like I have on my hori split pad pro for my oled Nintendo switch. After doing so more research, an old option I considered once resurfaced, the anbernic RG557. It seems to be the only one in my price range, $300, that comes with clicky L2 and R2 triggers. Now do I go with the RG557 since it has the triggers I want plus 12GB of ram versus 8GB, plus it looks more ergonomic and I can get it in transparent purple. Or do I go with the Odin portal 2 since it’s got a newer processor chip in it plus it’s got a way better screen, and just mod the triggers to mouse click ones? My emulation wants btw are PS2 and GameCube 😁

ROM hack “Master of Time” issues

Downloaded my first ROM hack and I’m having some issues with it being as streamlined as everything else on my handheld. First off, I’m using a Logitech G Cloud and running M64Plus FZ for my Nintendo 64 emulator with daijisho as my front end. When I enter the pause menu the colors of the back ground go crazy and where link should be standing in the equipment menu is just a weird distorted combination of what not, I’ve attached pictures for reference. Also, when I try to boot up the game through daijisho in handheld mode, the rom hack doesn’t show up but if I launch the game through M64Plus FZ it shows up. Any and all help with this would be amazing!!
