I mean Stallone was really digging deep and giving bigger roles to extremely minor characters in this film like Spider Rico and Little Marie. Do you think Frank should have had a bigger appearance than just a background character at the restaurant? Maybe he could have still been singing with his pals around a flaming trash can.... OR, maybe even a scene where it is acknowledged that he is now a successful singer. Just a thought.

Mickey (Burgess Meredith) was 68 when the first Rocky was released. Rocky (Stallone) was 60 when Rocky Balboa was released. So only an 8 year difference. So, do you think hypothetically Mickey could have trained for a professional fight around the same time the Rocky series began? You can't count him out because he had knowledge, experience, and wisdom and also there is the factor of "old man strength. Thoughts?
