Got my new staub today, as soon as I picked it up it rattled and I was concerned. Opened it and the screw was loose from the knob. Both knob and screw were loose inside. The enamelling from a first quick glance seems fine, knob is a bit scratched. What would you do! Just screw it back on and move on? Or email them. Love the new colour :) 💚
I want to find the person who has a problem with us parking in our garage driveway.
We rent a garage on the same block around the 104th police station and also own a house nearby. The same block the cops park on one end 7-10 cars and they go up on the sidewalk. Only recently is there a yellow line giving pedestrians 2-3ft to walk behind the cars on the sidewalk, otherwise it’s mostly blocked.
At our garage people block the driveway constantly and it’s a huge annoyance, we are currently two cars and getting rid of one soon, so we’re parking one car in our garage driveway, leaving much more space than the cops for people to walk. It also helps prevent people from parking and blocking us and our neighbours into the driveway/garage.
It’s know that the neighborhood is difficult to park, especially around the cops who notoriously take up lots of spots. We pay lots of money every month for our garage and think it’s ridiculous that someone is attacking us, calling 311 and putting notes on the car. We are not in anyone’s way, leaving 5+ft for people to walk. If this is you, talk to me next time you see us at the garage. Also try talking to your neighbours before calling 311 on them. I truly can’t see why this is an annoyance to anyone, but I’m all ears if you have something to complain about that I can’t fathom.
Edit: please note calling 311 means calling the cops (who do this on the other end of the block) to come and ticket me, which, sure you’re trying to send a message, but you are siding with the cops who are doing the same thing, if you had a problem, come talk to your neighbour.
Anyone have this and can tell me more about the parts, specifically if the insulating ring is made of plastic? Also deciding between this or just another induction cooktop that can precisely control the temperature. Thanks!
