If you could imagine Pantalone as a Parent, what do you think he would be like...?

[TMI: I was inspired by this comment by u/AfternoonOne4483 to do this post; (and yes, I did reply with "He does give of "Girl Dad" vibes" too)...]

Personally, if he had a child/children, I think about these things:

  • I know some of you might think he would spoil them.
    • (And I won't deny that it's a possibility and that it could happen here-and-there)...
  • Then again, whilst it might not be crazy strictness, maybe he could show some discipline and teach them about etiquette and responsibility, with both money and oneself...
  • He is also a smart man, so maybe he could help out with his children's education too.
  • As for affection and care, though he may not make it obvious, he would show signs here-and-there, and one day, his child would care for him back...
  • I mean, giving after everything he has been through, I'm sure he'd be able to be a good provider for his children, instead of being neglectful, and help with financial support too...
  • He could also be protective of his children, considering the rumours and theories about him being the "Electro Dragon Sovereign"; (then again, he could be protective in other ways too...)

(That's all the possible head-canons I can come up with for now...)

If Pantalone becomes playable, how do you think his voice lines on the other Harbingers and the Tsaritsa will be like...?

I mean, we already have Childe, Scaramouche, Arlecchino and Columbina's opinions/roasts on him, so what do you think will happen when it's our Regrator's turn...?

These are my current predictions on what his thoughts on the other Harbingers would be like:

(Just so you know, I'm not a complete "Genshin Impact expert", so the points I'm going to make are based off what I already know so far and they're also pure guesses...)

(Then again, as Columbina once said: "(everyone's) all just bargaining chips he could use to expand his ever increasing empire of wealth...")

  • I think we already have a collective idea about what his voice line on Dottore would be like, because of how close they were in the recent SOTWM Archon Quest; (even though I don't personally ship them myself)...
  • We already know from Columbina that he and Pulcinella "often appear to get along on the surface while working against each other in secret"; (and it's not a friendly rivalry). Along how often Pulcinella uses the words "money", "that darn Pantalone", and "mark my words". Don't worry, I haven't forgotten about his little critique/jab at Pulcinella's "all work shall halt for half a day" announcement in "Winter Night's Lazzo".
    • But I don't know to what extent the severity of their rivalry is like...
  • Again, as information from Columbina, Pierro controls a lot of what of happens in Snezhnaya, along with Pantalone and Pulcinella, so maybe we could inside intel on him...?
    • I mean, he is kind of a mysterious figure, given the fact that all we know is that he is a survivor of Khaenri'ah and was the 1st ever/original Fatui Harbinger, and even the other Harbingers know little about him too.
  • I'm not really sure about what he'd say about Sandrone and Arlecchino.
    • Considering how Arlecchino criticised him on "remain(ing) in the comfort of (his) homeland" during "Winter Night's Lazzo" and how she was fighting him in "House of Wolves"(I know it's fan content, but I can't stop thinking about it), I'm sure he has a counter-argument of his own on this matter...
  • Columbina told us that his "smile would hide even more contempt" if he saw her now, so maybe Pantalone's voice line might have some jealousy towards her...
  • I'm also a bit in the dark on what Pantalone might say about Childe, even though Childe's in a lower rank then him.
  • I wonder what his words on Capitano will sound like, even when nearly everyone has been singing praises about him, whether it's respect, his strength or more...
  • As with Her Majesty, the Tsaritsa, I'm pretty sure that Pantalone is quite skeptical about her, since he's unsure if "the Seven" won't be corrupted...
  • Yeah, with La Signora, I'm a bit 50-50 on whether his voice line will be sympathetic(like Arlecchino and Columbina) or just nonchalant(like Childe and Scaramouche), but it's more likely the latter then the former...

After Sumeru, how do you think Pantalone's next conversation with the Traveller will be like?

[TMI: I was inspired by this clip from "Classroom of the Elite"(COTE: Season 4, Episode 8) to do this post, which is a conversation between Kiryuin and Ayanokoji.]

I mean, during the "Luna VII", the Traveller did see him, but they only heard his voice and didn't see his full face, because he was wearing a hood, concealing his identity and pretended to be a subordinate, in order to be sensitive with the diplomatic relations between Snezhnaya and Sumeru.

I can kind of guess that we'll meet him again in Snezhnaya.

As for what he might discuss with the Traveller, I can spitball of a few ideas:

  • Maybe he could be try to get a read on the Traveller and talk about his instincts on them, how Kiryuin tries to do with Ayanokoji.
    • (It would be funny if Pantalone offered the Traveller a cigarette and they reject, but I doubt it, because the devs would rather keep the game PG...)
  • I feel like he'll reveal that he was the hooded figure in Sumeru by revealing this quote = "One's enemy in the present may not necessarily be an enemy for life."
  • I think he would be careful of what topics to touch upon, such as Dottore or the things Dottore has done.
    • (Of course, I'm not blind to the fact that Pantalone is morally grey too...)
  • Also, apart from Columbina's mention of the term "Mistilteinn" and how Arlecchino, Tartaglia and Pulcinella are involved in it, we haven't heard much of "Project Stuzha".
    • Could Pantalone potentially reveal more on that...?
  • I don't think he'll try and convince/force the Traveller to work with him, because we all know that it didn't work with Dottore, as does Pantalone.
  • Maybe they might become civil, without the relationship being all "hunky-dory"...
    • I have a feeling that he might their conversation by saying "I look forward to meeting/seeing you again, Miss/Mr Traveller..."
  • Plus, I feel like Snezhnaya will be a VERY important chapter for the Traveller, (and some might think the Traveller needs to get a wake-up call), so do you think Pantalone might be a potential lore-heavy character, like Nicole the angel...?
    • (I am a small believer of the "Pantalone being the Electro Dragon Sovereign" theory, but you never know what might happen...)
