Hello , I'd joined fintech company as a software engineer, where I was assigned team will the fullstack role ( dotnet + angular) , but the work they are giving me is monitoring , some patching for software which were vulnerabile in serves, manual deployments by coping DLLs across multiple servers and environments, setting up DBs, message broker, changing the configs for applications etc. I am assigned non coding tasks most of time, many times I am sitting ideal with no meaningful and productive work to do, had asked manager multiple times but ignored me and suggested me first learn about project.

I had done little work on frontend which was demo application and not deployed, for backend too haven't done any changes which went to prod.

I will be completing 3 year in Aug 2026, should I try to switch , but I doubt how will I clear round if asked related to my work in current org, or should I again talk with manager and stay for 1 year and see how does it goes.
