Sticking calipers… Drums are fine
Had a front passenger caliper stick really hard out of the blue (normal braking in stop & go 35mph traffic) about a month ago, was right by a shop so i swung in and they said it was just the sticky caliper.
Fast forward a month, and the drivers side caliper starts sticking (two separate times just enough to smell)
Pulled the rear brake drums and everything seems to be in order, wheel cylinders seem a tad crusty but generally rear brakes are all there, loose and able to be shifted.
Internet is pointing me towards ABS Module being gummed up (fluid has some color).
What am I missing/what is the next check? ABS module refresh is probably outside my wheelhouse…
What in the Wasabi, 3000$ USD fancy ratchets.
my gob has been smacked.
'Hopefuls' and 'Hopeless' a model for understanding politics, or a trait of in-grouping?
I find it curious that so much discourse hinges around political affiliation and not longterm outlook. So many folks seem to have accepted that they need to 'get theirs' before 'the end' whether that's financial, biblical, or some other. Similarly, so many seem locked into this 'creating a better future'. Yet, rather than have that discussion, there is always a theatrical game of connecting enough issues together to form some 'broader mission' whether that be MAGA or No Kings....
Anyone else notice this dichotomy of the 'hopefuls' and the 'hopeless'? Where do you fall? Does it feel aligned in any way connected to your political ideology?
I'm really curious if the dichotomy shows more 'in-group' similarities between members of both groups... ie, do party members of both sides believe they are the hopefuls
If your big red pickup truck lost a tire on Sunday, it was last seen traveling skyward on Route 3.
Captured this on Sunday morning leaving the Cape.
