My mammoths are starting to open up! I was hoping to net them but I dont have a ladder tall enough!😆
That's the name of this variety of orientation lily. There are more blooms every year! I wish I could bring a couple flowers inside but I have two cats so that will never happen. They smell fantastic!
So, I know this is passion flower. That's unmistakable. Looking for second opinions on this being P. Incarnata. I would like to use it for tea but I know some passiflora can be harmful. We got them for 50 cents a plant at an Asian market. They were just labeled passion flower. I've grown it in the past but Im just paranoid.
So, I found this growing in my indigo. Grown from starts, not seeds. I initially thought peanut. Still think peanut. Squirrels leave them everywhere. Plantnet says peanut or possibly false blue indigo. It would be hilarious to have false indigo randomly in my Japanese indigo! I'm guessing I'll find out if it flowers but looking for opinions. Leaves are about an inch long. SE Minnesota.
Plantnet is telling me about 60% chance this is groundcherry. I did grow them a couple years ago. I mean, its looks like it. Just looking for another opinion. I might pull it either way. I don't like the funkiness. But, I usually let volunteers live.
I know it's probably difficult to tell, but any ideas as to possible variety? I'm curious because I'm not sure if it will do alright with full sun or need some shade. It would help with estimating size as well.
I picked it up for a few dollars at a local sale where nothing is labeled.
Thanks!
