Should I replace 2017 Toyota Rav4 XLE AC condenser myself, or take it to the shop?
I took it to a shop to find the leak and drain all of the Freon out of it. The quote to replace it at the shop was around $960, and O'Reilly's quoted me $218 for the part by itself. I haven't done a lot of car work, but I routinely change my oil/rotate my tires and just recently replaced my alternator/serpentine belt on my other car.
Is it straight forward enough to do by myself on a weekend, or should I just have the shop do it?
