Hungry
After an incredibly long and difficult 8 years of homelessness, I finally have some good news: this Monday, me and my pups are moving into a place of our own. Today I paid the security deposit, and while I’m beyond grateful and excited, it completely wiped me out financially. Right now I’m struggling hard just to get something to eat and make it through these last few days.
I’m currently in Lancaster, CA, and if anyone could help with food, a meal, or even a few dollars for something to eat, I would truly appreciate it more than words can explain. These past years have been exhausting, painful, and lonely at times, but knowing I only have 3 more nights before I’ll finally sleep in a real bed instead of out in the desert is keeping me going.
I’m trying my best to hold on and start over the right way. Thank you to anyone who takes the time to read this, share it, or help in any way at all. Even kindness and encouragement mean so much right now. Me and my pups are almost home. ❤️
