I haven’t seen many people post about the Chisos No.7 boots, and I haven’t ever seen anyone post a pic of the Lizards so here they are. They’re absolutely beautiful. I wear a 10.5 EE in their regular boots but I had to order these in 10.5D. For starters, they’re on the smaller side and I definitely feel how much more narrow they are in the standard width.

Fitment wise its a non-starter. I couldnt even zip them up which is a bummer since I really wanted to keep these. Anyhow, quality is on par with the rest of their line up. I may ask for a size larger but it didn’t look like they had anything else in stock. If I can somehow get a larger pair I’ll let everyone know how they feel.

I just picked these up from eBay for $80. The listing never indicated there was a hole in one of the boots. My question is are these worth repairing or am I better off sending them back? They sure look neat which made me pretty irritated to see the hole when they got here.

Just gave these the love I think they deserve. I’ll be polishing up the #2’s next 😁. Saphir high gloss is some great stuff!

I just picked up both of these on eBay for $730 shipped. The #2’s look BRAND NEW (I’ve never owned new boots before 😭). The #1’s have some use but also look new. How’d I do? Do I need to condition and polish them before using? Or am I better off leaving them alone until they’re broken in?

Hi all, I’m super new to repairing computers so I wanted to ask for help. My damn cats knocked my laptop down from the top shelf in my dining room and bent the hell out of it. The heat sink was bent to hell, the corner of the screen was bent but the display looks alright, and the shell was obviously cracked and no longer useable. I bought a non working, good condition replacement with the hopes I can swap parts over.

My main question is this: what pastes do I need to buy for the CPU sections? I dont know what type the white stuff or pink stuff is. I did, however buy the grey thermal paste already. Is there anything else I should be aware of before I take the non-working one apart so I can start swapping components?

Also, would anyone know if I can remove the keyboard and save it as a spare? Its has a bunch of plastic welds but no screws. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Does anyone know if the pull loops can be repaired and/or reinforced on my boots? Like an idiot, I man handled the poor things this morning and almost tore them off. They’re Lucchese 2000’s.

I’m trying to figure out what model these Lucchese boots are. Anyone have an idea? The model number is usually a 4 digit code but I dont see one here. Figured I’d ask before considering spending $450 on them. I know the lower is grey ostrich skin and I think they’re absolutely gorgeous.
