Is eating the same thing everyday the only way to achieve a goal?

Been gyming for almost two years. Was 120lbs due to smoking a lot and now I’m 145ish. Try to fast once a week which brings me down to 143lbs. I have more muscle now but it’s the diet part I bloody hate.

I eat 3 eggs a day a protein shake and a chicken breast with either Mac and cheese or a garden salad. I can do that maybe for two weeks max and then I’ll have a day off work and eat sushi and ice cream and destroy all progress. My days off are ruining my progress.

Which Style/Plan to follow?

25F been going to the gym for a year and half now consistently 4 days a week for weight training. Occasionally 12-24hour fasting. Full body workouts every session and almost every workout finishing with at least 10 mins of walking or stairmaster and/or a bit of running in intervals.

Not gaining weight and not losing weight. Was 150lbs for years since grade 9 and lost 30lbs when I smoked a crap tonne. Hated being that skinny fat with no cushions on my cheeks so I started working out almost two years ago to gain some weight back. Now I sit between 143-145lbs I eat 90-110g of protein daily. I average 7-8k steps a day which could be better I know.

My question is what style or plan do I follow to lose some inches around my waist and tone up my arms?

Body recomp? Bulk some more and then cut? My bf says I’m still filling out but is there something else I should be doing to get down to 138-140lbs?

My goal is to have a slimmer waist mostly. Typical I know.

Two Periods per Month for Years… why? Extreme moodiness

I am 25. When I first started getting my period I got only once every 4-6 months. Once I got older around 18/19 I started using Tricira-Lo 28 birth control. I have been using the same one since then and my periods were once a month and always lasted 4 days. There was an incident where I couldn’t get access to the birth control for maybe a couple weeks? (Hard to remember) I started taking it again though and my periods started doubling every other month. One month would be one period and the next month would be two periods back to back. Now it has been 3 months in a row of 2 periods. Twice a month periods with as little as 3 days between the two or up to 1 1/2 weeks between the two if that makes sense.

Something to add; I realized after a couple months after restarting my birth control that I had been taking them wrong. I had been taking the pills that are supposed to be taken during the last week of my cycle last… first by accident. Would that mess up everything? It has been corrected since then and was fixed months ago but still double periods and now consistent double periods every month so I am posting here for some answers or insight.

I am tired of being in a moody mess at work during these periods and I’m tired of feeling bad for my bf who has to deal with my crazy mood swings. It is hard to stay happy and longer this keeps up the more paranoid and down I get about it. I have a hard enough time as it is regulating my emotions due to how I was raised. I really don’t need a biological aspect I can’t control affecting me as well.

Any experience sharing would be good! Any insights or advice even better! I have no family doctors but recently got one and hoping to book an appointment soon once I have some more time.

Thank you in advance
