Me trying to play it cool when my Afghan dad finds my copy of generation kill book. 🧔🏽‍♂️“Why do you keep reading about these Americans with guns?”

Alright I applied for a remote customer service position and they said they will conduct a live technical testing. Any advice or idea of what I should be prepared with?

What are some things death note fanfic writers often get wrong about the characters?

Hey guys. So I’m a fanfic writer. I’m writing a fanfic about Near six years after the Kira investigation where he is operating as L, investigating a murder case. 11 chapters are already out.

I’ve introduced Linda and some other original characters from Wammy’s house who I named: Martha and Alastair. I’ve always liked Near and I’ve always been interested in him as L.

My pet peeve is that I want to write Near as close to canon as possible and not make him feel out of character while also taking my own liberties such as pairing him with Linda which is quiet challenging since he does not outwardly display much emotions.

I was curious what you as readers might think fanfic writers often get wrong about certain characters? For those of you who read or write for the fandom, what are your personal pet peeves when it comes to how writers characterize certain characters.

Why are some people so obsessed with drinking raw milk? Is there actually any benefits or it’s all pseudo science?

This is what confuses me. I’ve been seeing a surge of pro raw milk consumers on social media lately and it’s quite concerning. I have lived in a farm for quite some time in Afghanistan and we would get milk from our goats and cows but even then we would make sure to boil twice then cool it down before consuming it, since it was considered dirty and dangerous to drink raw milk.

▲ 6 r/AMA

Spent quite alot of my childhood and adolescence in Afghanistan particularly in the provinces of Kabul, Parwan and Mazar i sharif. Afghan women have a lot of people speaking up on behalf of us. At times misrepresenting us. People often get shocked and ask me a lot of questions the moment they come to know I’m Afghan. I would love to do an AMA.
