Whole new meaning to Honey-Bucket...
I’ve been building a browser-based text RPG called Squatch Country, and I figured this would be a good place to finally introduce it.
It’s a post-apocalyptic Pacific Northwest RPG built around exploration, regional storylines, survival, camps, PvP, jobs, progression, loot, and a growing open-world map.
The game is set across a fictional county divided into regions like Timber Junction, Cedar Creek, Blacktail Forest, Black Mountain, The Burn, Devil’s Ridge, and The Dark Timber. Each area has its own locations, NPCs, missions, evidence, and ongoing story threads.
I’m trying to keep the game lightweight and fast like the old browser RPGs while giving it more modern systems and atmosphere. Current and planned features include:
It’s still actively being developed, so I’m especially interested in feedback from people who already play text-based and browser RPGs.
If you want to check it out:

If you give it a try, I’d be interested to hear what works, what feels unnecessary, and what you’d want to see added. message me for a "Tester Account"
Has anyone made one using fresh figs? I've got a fig tree with a TON of figs on it. Was thinking of making a Brown Ale and using puree made of my figs to add at flameout.
