Meta: Serious Question: Why does almost every post get downvoted to zero or less?

It seems like a lot of these post are people legitimately dealing with a shitty work situation and are looking for somewhere to turn. Why the downvotes? Some of the post have dozens of comments but are still downvoted. I don't get it.

Is that not the purpose for this sub?

I think I kinda hat modern tables

I just played the DnD table and I hated it. It just feels like a slot machine with no chance of a payout. I know that in theory there are rules, goals, technique and strategy, but reading the rules card provides essentially no information. It's all lights and sound and vibration and the plastics and features on the table are so large that the ball isn't even visible probably 30% of the time it's in play. Got a multi ball (again, no idea how, it just seemed to randomly happen about 15 sec into a ball) and I lost count of the number of balls it launched into the table... Then all or a sudden it locked out the flippers! I thought I triggered the tilt mech, but no, apparently it just does that for some reason?

The table is just too much gimmick, too little game. And I realized I feel the same about a lot of the more recent stern tables, too. They are just too busy, too muddled, and completely unintuitive. And I'm fine with a difficult table! Black Knight is one of my all time favorites! But with tables like that, you know where you stand! A lot of these modern tables are just... noise and lights.

I think designers need to get back to fundamentals. Keep it simple but engaging! All the great tables have at most one or two good gimmicks, and you should be able to tell what triggers it! This table felt like watching a Michael bay movie on 3x speed.

Looking for some top notch watermelons, supermarket watermelon is trash. Where should I go?

There used to be an amazing fruit stand out cane creek road that had top notch melons (and all sorts of other fruit) but that's been closed for a couple summers. Looking for some quality melons, please advise.
