I might have a DCC problem

I downloaded Dungeon Crawler Carl on June 20 because people here wouldn’t stop recommending it.
I figured I’d listen during a few runs and while driving.
Instead… I accidentally turned it into a full-time job.
According to my stats, I listened for 86 some odd hours in June, and almost all of that was packed into the last 10 days of the month. Now it’s July and I’m still going.
I’ve been listening while:

Running
Driving
Walking
Doing chores
Grocery shopping
Falling asleep
Pretty much any moment my brain isn’t required for something else

I honestly think I’ve developed a Blitzstick addiction.
Please tell me I’m not the only one who went completely off the rails after starting this series.

I don’t know what I’m going to do when I get to the end of 8 I’m close to the end of 6 right now.

What the hell happened to my lungs

I was running 30+ miles a week consistently before the end of May. Then I got sick.
I went to multiple doctors throughout June. I was tested, prescribed antibiotics, told it was probably viral, and basically got, “It just has to run its course.” That was the extent of the help.
Now it’s July, and I still feel like a completely different runner.
Before this, 10 to 12 mile runs were normal. Now I’m exhausted after 3 miles. If I push past that, I can finish the run, but it feels like I’m dragging my body the entire way. My lungs feel like they just never recovered.
The frustrating part is that I don’t know if I’m making myself better by continuing to train or if I’m just digging a deeper hole.
I am training for my second marathon in October, with another in December and one in February. Before I got sick, I thought I had a legitimate shot at breaking 4 hours. Now I’m honestly wondering if I’ll even be close and whether I’ll be lucky to finish around 5.
Has anyone else had a virus completely destroy their aerobic fitness like this?
How long did it take before you felt normal again?
Did you just keep running through it, or did you completely back off until your lungs recovered?
At this point I’m honestly looking for some peace of mind because this has gone on way longer than I ever expected, and my doctors haven’t given me much beyond “it’ll get better.”
TL;DR: Healthy runner averaging 30+ miles per week. Got sick at the end of May. Multiple doctor visits, little improvement, and now I’m still exhausted after 3 miles more than a month later. Training for marathons in October, December, and February and wondering if anyone else has experienced a recovery this slow.

AA confirmed my First Class upgrade, took it away after an aircraft change, never put me back on the upgrade list, and then gave the seat to the EP below me on the list.

Really frustrating experience on AA371 from PHL to MCI today.

I got the text earlier in the day saying I cleared into First Class for seat 5A. Then the app wouldn’t let me fully check in and kept telling me to go to a kiosk/counter to finish check-in.

So I did exactly what it told me to do.

Nobody at the kiosk or counter mentioned I’d lost my upgrade or even my original seat. Later at the Admirals Club they told me I actually wasn’t checked in anymore, my seat was gone, and I had been moved from 8C to 20A. That’s when they explained there had been an aircraft change.

At the gate I explained that I had already been confirmed into First Class earlier in the day and asked if they could put me back on the upgrade list. They told me they couldn’t because First was full.

Then I watched another Executive Platinum passenger get upgraded while I sat in 20A because apparently once the system removed me, nobody could put me back.

I understand aircraft swaps happen. Stuff happens. But if a confirmed upgrade gets removed because of a system or aircraft issue outside the customer’s control, there should be some way to fix it.

Especially for an EP who already cleared the upgrade.

Most of my flying is hub-to-hub so upgrades are pretty rare for me. I actually appreciate the perk when it happens, which made this one sting even more.
