Rewrite History- but only by one word

The genie/god/wizard/omniscient prankster, known as The Entity, responsible for the hypotheticals in this sub is bored and has chosen you for their new game.

You now have the opportunity to alter history. Choose a quote by any historical figure, and change one word. History will immediately rewrite itself to make the new quote make sense and all subsequent events will adjust accordingly.

You will find yourself in the new world you have created with your current memories and knowledge. You and The Entity will be the only ones to remember the old timeline. The Entity will ensure that you are born and survive to your current age, but will not help you in any other way. They're just watching you for entertainment.

Rules:

  1. You must choose a historical figure. No myths, legends, or supernatural creatures- it has to be someone that actually existed. You may choose a religious figure if historians generally agree that a person by their name and description actually existed. Jesus, the Buddha, Mohammed, Confucius, etc are all fair game. Zeus, Adam and Eve, Anubis, Kali, etc are not allowed.

  2. You must choose a quote. It has to be something the person is recorded as actually saying, or at least something generally attributed to them.

  3. You only get one word. You can add, remove, or replace any word you choose but you must use a real, recognized word. Contractions and common slang are allowed, gibberish and franken-words are not. The Entity will magically translate as needed.

  4. You must choose a quote from at least ten years ago, and it cannot be something said by a member of your family or someone you have a personal relationship with.

  5. If you refuse to participate, the Entity calls you a killjoy and curses you so that every drink you pick up will be covered in condensation, regardless of temperature, for the rest of your life.

Everyone is encouraged to reply to other's comments with butterfly effect repercussions of their change!

(Hypothetically) What phonemes would a wolf be physically capable of making?

This may be kind of an odd question, but it came up in a fiction story I'm writing and I don't know enough about linguistics to answer it myself.

Say that you, a normal human, suddenly find yourself transformed into a wolf while still retaining your intelligence and consciousness. You are still perfectly fluent in your native language and can understand when people speak to you. But, you now have the mouth, teeth, tongue, etc of a wolf.

What sounds are you still physically capable of producing or approximating? Would your speech be intelligible at all?

Sequel theory- Rumi was never actually a hunter

Just a silly headcanon I thought of, that I think would be fun for a sequel fanfic- Rumi isn't actually a hunter and she never was.

Being a hunter isn't hereditary- Rumi's mom being a hunter is pure coincidence. Each group has to find and train their replacements before they can retire. We don't know for sure how they find the new hunters, but it probably has to do with them accidentally affecting the honmoon.

We see that when Rumi gets really emotional, it affects the honmoon. Babies and little kids are extremely emotional, so Celine would have noticed Rumi's powers right away, naturally assumed that Rumi was a future hunter, and started training her immediately.

But the chances of Rumi's mother having a child who is also a hunter are ridiculously small (there are 25 *million* women in South Korea alone and only three hunters per generation). So, what if Rumi's ability to manipulate the honmoon is actually an extension of her demon powers and nit her being born a hunter?

High ranking demons can damage the honmoon. Rumi's father was the same type of demon as the Saja Boys, so it would make sense for her to inherit the ability. But, because she isn't controlled by Gwi-ma and received hunter training, Rumi is able to use that ability to fix and control the honmoon instead.

Even Rumi and Celine don't know it, but Rumi is just using her half demon abilities to *mimic* hunter powers, she isn't actually one of them.

But if Rumi isn't really a hunter, where is the girl who was supposed to be Mira and Zoey's teammate?

With the third Sunlight Sister! Celine and the last member of her group had a falling out when Rumi was born an obvious half demon. The third sister tried to get rid of the potential threat but was defeated by Celine. Both women now consider the other a traitor.

She retreated and began looking for the next generation on her own, secretly planning to return and eliminate Celine and the half demon she protected, as soon as she has some backup.

Celine finds Zoey and Mira first, assumes she found all three new hunters, and makes Huntrix. But the third Sunlight Sister keeps looking and finds the *actual* final member of the new generation. Since she only has one, she trains the new girl into more of an assassin type warrior and sends her after Rumi and Celine.

The plot would be about defeating this new threat, getting the new girl to learn the lessons Huntix learned in the first movie, dealing with Rumi's new identity crisis, and trying to redeem the last Sunlight Sister and repair her relationship with Celine. And also Jinu comes back because Rumi deserves to keep her man.

Are there any animals that are strictly cannibalistic?

Just a random question that occured to me

I know many species have no issue snacking on other members of their own kind, and even more animals are willing to resort to cannibalism when resources are limited.

But are there any animals that *only* eat other members of their species? Or, if not, any that seem to prefer canabalism to preying on other species?

It seems like it would be a very inefficient survival strategy, but hyper-parasites exist, so it seems like it could work in theory.
