A small isolated population of about 100 people, completely unknown to the entire world, will suddenly die. No one would ever find out, but you'd have to live with the knowledge that they died as a result of you accepting the money.

Every time you use the toilet at work the entire building smells like shit for about an hour. People would suspect it was you, but you'd never be identified formally as the culprit. You'd go to the toilet, the place would stink of shit, and then you'd walk back into the office you'd get a lot of suspicious eyes and people would be taking about it a lot. Even asking you if you could smell it, which you'd have to say no to.

You're hanging out with your group.

Atlas[Human]: "Alright, bit of a controversial topic. What's the most humiliating way to die?"

Emma[Angel]: "Probably torture. People can do all kinds of brutal and dehumanizing things to you if you're at their mercy."

Atlas: "Sure, but I mean specifically."

Yanalyn[Elf]: "I think being dismembered is pretty high on the list. You're quite literally reducing a person down to their individual parts. They lose their identity and become an arm, a leg, or whatever other part of them is found."

Doug[Human]: "That's bad but being fooled has gotta be the most embarassing. Imagine getting lured into an ambush by a prostitute and getting robbed and shot—probably after wetting yourself and begging for your life. Your legacy is being a desperate horndog who got duped because they were thinking with the wrong head.

Atlas: "Okay, okay. That's pretty humiliating."

Doug: "Extremely humiliating. If this happened to my brother, I wouldn't even go to his funeral."

Atlas: "..."

Emma: "..."

Yanalyn: "..."

Doug: "Hypothetically speaking."

What do you do?

Personally, I'd choose the baby, although the choice depends on the mother.

Ok, you’re offered 25 million dollars but you can’t leave the state of your choosing for the rest of your life. For me, I’m taking it and I’m staying in California. Pretty much has anything you could want; beaches, snow, deserts, and professional sports. Would you take the money? What state would you pick?

You must select one movie. For the rest of your life you can only speak using quotes from this one movie. Talking with your partner, your kids, your boss, interviewing for a new job, meeting at the bank, best man speech, etc... All of it must come from this one movie.

You can speak sentences out of order, but they must still be full sentences from this movie. No partial sentences, or single words unless they are already spoken like that in the movie.

So lets say gen z gets teleported to the start of the great depression. Banks fail, people are starving, unemployment is high, businesses are closing, people are left without homes, etc.

Would gen z survive the entirety of the great depression?

I am apart of gen z so I hope we survive.

Chloe: "There's no pepperoni. We'll have to go without."

You: "That sucks."

Valery: "Maybe we don't have to. There's a pizza in the freezer, right?"

Chloe: "...Yeah?"

Valery: "Maybe we can borrow the pepperonis and put them back later."

Chloe: "..."

You: "..."

Chloe: "Val, that's a stupid idea."

Valery: "But why?"

Is Valery a hidden genius? Or is this just another one of her dumb ideas?

Who do you side with?

What would you miss, if at all, if the entire human race disappeared except you, your friends and family? Would you miss the rest?

Edit: I really appreciate all your responses. I hope everyone reading this thread is reminded that even as strangers to each other, we are all so connected, and valuable to each other. Sure, we could live without each other or might even prefer some of your absense from a nice beach. :D But we would still miss you if you're gone. I am so grateful that we all exist, and sharing this timeline in human history. The weight of this realisation is truly beautiful to me. Okay, pheeww, enough tears, back to wars now.

Imagine you gave birth to a perfectly happy, healthy baby, but you later discovered that they had an extremely rare condition that meant they would never physically or mentally grow older. They would always remain exactly as they are at 4 months old. Healthy, happy, and capable of experiencing love and joy, but never developing into a child, teenager, or adult.

If doctors told you there was nothing wrong with their health and no treatment could ever change it, what would you do? How would you feel about raising a child who would remain a baby forever, could you even do it? and how would you handle knowing that you would continue to age while they never did?

Let's say, the Wizard Gilbo the Green had enough of all the nuclear talk and fear and cast a magic spell that prevented radioactive isotopes from creating a fission reaction with intentions to explode. Nuclear power plants still work, but the bombs suddenly became obsolete and useless. What would happen? Would North Korea immediately be invaded? Would Taiwan suddenly find itself in the metaphorical jaws of China? Would the US suddenly be attacked from all directions?
