Let’s say you could either see your income and net worth increase 100% instantly or see everyone else who is richer than you see their income and wealth drop 50% instantly. What would you prefer and why?

Hi all, I know this thread is about retiring abroad but for cases where one has to return to the US for a short time such as for family reasons, what options are there?

Would not want to create tax residency while here but how can you get health insurance without a job?
