Suggestions for a new Multistrada 905s owner?

Somehow as an Aprilia guy found myself trading some cash for a title and key to a beautiful 2021 905s. Never thought a Ducati would be in my stable..

Deal was right.. the original owner bought it, took it out for a few rides, then parked it until deciding to sell it 5 years later. Engine was still at 1st stage break in mileage!

So granted it's been sitting for 5 years, I changed all the fluids.. in the process found it had no prescilencer/cat and instead had a rapid bike evo and straight mid pipe.. it runs and rides great, albeit its a tad loud..

Sounds like the timing belts might be aged out.. any comments on that?

I know the 950S was 3 generations ago but so far, I'm enjoying it. Any mods or suggestions yall can make on these? known issues to be on the look out for.. any Ducatisms to dodge?

I do all my own maintenance.. I am thankful enough to have the means to make my own specialty tools too. So if there are any frequently used ones I can start on, I'd like to know

Rhanks!

Why are the Aprilia specialty tools so terrible?

A local shop was kind enough to let me borrow some aprilia OE tools but what a pain they were.. so I reverse engineered and made my own. All tools shown are the ones I made

For all the talk I've seen of people (especially on the Aprilia forum) saying they were going to make their own but never did, this is for you..

Soooooo much nicer to use, came out great, but there are further improvements that can be made..

Pitted cam?

Working through the 12k valve lash check on my 2021 Tuono V4..

Everything measured in spec but there's a pit on an intake cam lobe, dead center and at the apex.. pretty clearly catches a fingernail when dragged over it.

Gut says it's replacement territory..even found a replacement cam locally that I'm picking up later.

Now, I'm not super familiar with these specific engines, but by far not my first top end service.. . these 1077cc V4s seem to really chew up intake cams. The manual says to ignore discoloration but not pits..

Just a sense check.. would you go ahead a s replace an intake came over 1 tactile pit, on one lobe?
