Any of you have dual SVS-SB-3000 Revolution, or maybe just dual identical subwoofers? Are your gains, before AVR room correction, on both subs the same for the same SPL at equal distance? One of my subs seem to be much weaker than the other. I have to increase gain to more than -10dB for it to sound loud. The other sub sounds loud and impactful with just -15dB. Even putting my ear right next to the driver I hear the difference. I got both subs at the same time and both came in pretty beat up boxes. I think I should exchange the one that sounds weaker and doesn't produce strong bass like the other one. When I ran autoeq, both seem okay though.

Update: I think I resolved the issue. Looks like the surge protector / power strip I used for the two subs were to blame. I saw the load warning light blinking (APC SurgeArrest P11U2). After I removed the surge protector and put the subs into the same UPS I have everything else connected to, they both sounded much better and more even between them. If I didn’t see that warning light I never would have figured this out. The sub never shutdown or did anything other than sounding uneven and not having the rumble and impact.

Do I use the rubber pads that came with the R3 Meta speakers with the S3 stands?

The R6 is quite large so where should I stick the 4 rubber pads? At the corners? What's optimal?

I will have Kef R3 Meta, R6 Meta for LCR and Q1 Meta for Surrounds. My main listening position is about 10 feet. Should I go with dual SB-2000 Pro or dual SB-3000 Micro Revolution? About 60% movies, 40% music. Price is about the same, but 3000 micro re will be a easier to position in the front. 2000 pro will have better low end. I will have them in front near left and right speakers. Living room is about 15 feet by 16 feet. Which would you go for? Anyone have SB-3000 Micro RE? Are you happy with them for movies and music? I can't do PB-2000 Pro since it's much bigger.

I will be placing the Kef R6 Meta center channel on top of my tv console that has a tv mount. TV console is 24 inches high and bottom of TV is currently 9.25 inches above the top of the console. My main listening position is about 10 feet away. I estimate the middle of the speaker will be about 15 inches below ear level.

Should I use anything to slightly tilt and isolate the speakers to reduce vibrations on the tv console? At minimum, should I have some kind of layer between table and speaker so neither gets scratched if speaker happens to get moved for any reason. What do you guys do and what do you use? I can possibly raise the tv height 1 or 2 inches but prefer to leave it at current height. Otherwise it'll be too high, especially after I get a larger tv. I don't see the speakers having any kind of feet or pads. I'm still waiting on delivery atm.

I am getting Buckeye Hypex NCx252MP 4-Channel amp to power Kef R3 Meta and Kef R6 Meta. Should I bi-amp the R6 since I'll have an extra channel on the amp? Amp shows 250 watts @ 4 ohm when all channels driven. Will there be any quality difference in audio at lower than reference volume? Probably medium volume most of the time. The cost would be RCA splitter and another RCA to XLR cable. Maybe $50.

What do you guys think of the old Hellraiser movies? Are they worth the time to watch?

I've only watched the 2022 movie. I'm planning to buy the new Hellraiser game too. The trailer for that looks so good.

Edit: Also, there's so many Hellraiser movies! Do I stick with just the mainline movies like parts 1, 2, 3?

Hello, I am using "Ball Lightning - Mekuna's Ballkuna" build on Mobalytics. I'm trying to understand the build better as I transition into it.

I see, for tempering and masterworking, the build wants Critical Strike Damage Multiplier instead of Damage Over Time Multiplier. Why is this? It looks like Ball Lightning is a DoT. When I attack, I mainly see white damage numbers and occasionally the yellow crit numbers.

My critical strike chance is very low at around 5%. I don't have any of the uniques or mythics yet, which is where I see where crit chance is coming from for the build.

Should I use another build until I get all the mythics and unique items? Or, should I trade some stats for crit chance?

Edit: I forgot to mention that I am currently doing T8 comfortably. T9 is a bit of a challenge.
