Missing someone who doesn't feel the same

Hey everyone. I have a friend who moved quite far away due to wanting to live closer to his family. Hes a guy ive liked for so long & we use to have nice conversations where i fell for him quite hard. He got into other relationships while i still had a huge crush on him. Eventually we he became single again i asked him out on a date to which he agreed. Unfortunately i had some health issues shortly after asking him & i was devastated since i feel like i missed my chance and honestly cried a lot.

Eventually once i had recovered we met up for the first time in 4 years due to the pandemic & losing contact. To me it was a magical time although I'm not sure how he felt since hes a cards close to his chest kind of person. He told me he was moving the next year & it did hurt. I think i got friendzoned too which hurt a lot. We still communicated through Messenger a lot but when he finally officially moved the messages started to get less & less until they just stopped.

To me i feel like this hurt more than anything since i dont have a lot of people to talk to most of the time. I have trouble making friends & even going on dates especially since my self esteem was destroyed by dating apps. I still want to talk to him but i dont want it to seem im bothering him with messages since communication goes 2 ways and all.

Is there any advice that could be given for this situation and how to make friends. Should i just cut my losses with him even though it will hurt

Looking for some friends pls

Hello my name is Jared, I'm 30 from the UK. I'm looking for friends to talk to since i have trouble making friends in real life or people move on leaving me behind. Im interested in Gaming, History, Writing & Animals. I'm open to learning more & new things too. Im currently looking after a family member so having people to talk to during this trying time will help me feel less alone. I hope to make some friends & share in their passions as well as sharing in mine

Tinder

So ive been on tinder for a few years now & ive never gotten a date from it and barely got conversations either. Should i cut my losses with this app at this point? Ive never really had much luck on Bumble either. Should i just give up on these apps?

Feeling Welcome

Hello everyone not a question this time but i just wanted to say thank you for helping with my recent post since i dont have a ton of gay friends so some of my questions in future might seem simple but i've been wanting to learn more especially on things I'm not sure of. Its good to get other opinions & give me answers so I'm not going crazy lol.

I do hope to be part of this community for a while & hopefully you wont get sick of any questions i might have in future. I like to learn :)

Is this normal?

Hello everyone. Ive been wanting to ask a question but didn't know how to phrase it without sounding weird but here goes. Is it healthy to be slightly jealous of one of your friends getting into a relationship when you've been single for a long time?

I was just wondering if its normal since ive been on my own for a lot of my 20s & i just wondered is it normal to have a slight amount of jealousy?
