My Betelgeuse from CalCarn. The color is deepening every day. It could probably do with a bit more sunlight to be honest but I am happy with how it is growing. Every new leaf is bigger and taller than the last
This fly trap caught my eye since the teeth looked like it had two or more cilia coming out from one place
My outdoor carnivorous collection started from one venus fly trap I bought a year ago. Now I have 7 different flytraps, 4 different sarracenias and 4 different sundews
Today I made a big purchase at BACPS and bought this VFT from Calcarn. Supposedly it will turn an almost black color once summer is in full swing. Looking forward to how this plant will develop
The last 8 pictures are all the cool displays they had over there
Purchased on March 13th of this year
There seems to be multiple different bugs all crawling around in my pinguicula garden bowl i keep in my garage. They aren't noticeable at first but if you stare closely long enough, you'll be able to see lots of them moving around. I hope they are harmless
I made my first ping bowl to celebrate carnivorous plants day! The bowl consists of 5 pumice 4"-6" pumice rocks, homemade pinguicula soil, and a bottom layer of leca/lava rock. I have 5 types of pingula so far and 1 utricularia sandersonii. The bowl is split into two regions. 70% of the area is reserved for pings which is high and dry. The bottom portion stays consistently moist for the ultricularia to create a lush carpet.
