Another looking for friends post - but in Rybnik

Hello everyone, I recently moved to Rybnik after spending quite a long time in Krakow. I really like the town and feel at home here.

I've lived in a few places in my life and generally make friends easily, however as I'm still working in Krakow and am a bit older (40+) than when I made my last move I've found meeting people a little harder.

I managed to make a couple of nice friends here but am looking to expand my circle and get to know new people, a bit about me:

  • I'm an English native
  • I'm studying for Polish B1 exam so would be great to speak polish (but happy to help with English too)
  • I love sport, music, good food and wine. I also like a beer from time to time
  • I'm open to talk about a wide range of topics and am interested in opinions of others
  • I'd love to learn more about this region and town
  • Open to meeting with any sex, but I am married and not looking for any kind of romantic liaison

Just send me a message if you'd like to meet.

Yorkshire - sticky toffee pudding

Big shoutout to my parents for shipping a box of this to 🇵🇱 after I shared how much I’d enjoyed the biscuit brew.

- 3 minute steep
- full fat milk
- no sugar or sweetener
- mug by Portmeirion - made in England

Happy Father’s Day to all the dads.

Barry’s Gold - 36 degree heatwave 🇵🇱

3 mins steep
Full fat milk
No sugar
Polish sunshine
500ml Agata Puławska mug

Recently discovered Barry’s gold and it’s been a revelation. But have I brewed it well? Or could it be done better?

Also I’ve been advised to try Lyons or Barry’s master blend next. Good suggestion?

Edit: many people are asking or messaging about the mug. It’s from a Polish ceramics maker - Agata Puławska. It’s great to see such appreciation for her work

Hello everyone, I am a foreigner in Poland looking for some advice on where to buy music. I would like to purchase ALAC quality downloads of Polish Artists like Kacperczyk, Igo etc.,

Generally I don't like streaming services and prefer to buy music for download and permanent ownership. For foreign artists I use band camp which is excellent but I am struggling to find something similar when it comes to Polish artists, Any advice or recommendations?
