Got a great deal on this jacket from eBay almost a year ago. It’s dated July 1997 and is the Style 64 Tin Cloth Jacket. I absolutely love the cut. It fits me perfectly, and the pockets are huge. I’m looking forward to many years of use from this thing.
I finally got around to posting photos of my new Nicks. I’ve had them for a while now, and they’re exceptional. They’re easily the nicest boots I own, and I almost feel bad putting them to work.
They’re definitely overkill, but I don’t care. It’s worth it to me. The combination of waxed flesh-out and CXL leather, along with the Red X outsole, makes them surprisingly suitable for firefighting, not that I’m doing anything close to that.
I wanted something flexible and water-resistant, and this is where I landed. I have to say, I’m impressed. I’ll definitely post a break-in update soon. For now, enjoy the photos!
