Help Us Choose SLS Playa Mujeres or Live Aqua

A little about our group of 4, we are in our late 30s and torn between the two resorts for September. Staying 5 days and the prices for these two resorts are about the same so thats not a factor. We want to go to Isla Mujeres once or twice which seems to make SLS the easier option. We’d like to do a few excursions and it seems like there are more options in the hotel zone. Beach/pool is very important, trying to avoid sargassum. Food/drink is also important but wondering if anyone knows which hotel is better. SLS elite status is kind of putting us off already because they didnt let us make advance reservations. We are currently booked for SLS but thinking about switching to Live Aqua because it is adults only which is a HUGE plus. What would you choose? Thanks!

Anyone Else Notice an Increase of Crazy Drivers?

I’m not talking about people who can’t drive. I am talking about crazy drivers that swerve in and out of lanes on the freeway at over 90mph with no regard for other cars. I just came back from the gym and someone cut through the bike lane to make a right turn. He full stop as he made a right turn, to drive opposite of traffic so that he can cut in front of all the cars waiting at the red light. I’m curious why he didn’t just run the red light at that point. This increase in crazy people has me concerned and driving sometimes gives me anxiety. Is it the economy? It’s not the weather, it’s not even that hot yet. People are driving like they don’t have a home to return to. This is the worst I’ve ever seen it I’ve lived here all
my life.

CSR Application Issue Any Advice?

I recently applied for the CSR and my application was instantly approved. I already have a Chase account and couldn’t bypass the create account page, so I called in. They told me there is an issue with the name I used and I would need to go in branch to resolve. I didn’t want to do that so I asked what would happen if I just reapplied using my correct legal name. They said they can deny the application so that I can reapply in a few days. So couple of days later I reapplied and it was denied for being a duplicate. Called in multiple times there is no way to reverse the closure or reverse the duplicate application denial. They told me only way to get the card now is to apply a third time. First rep said to wait a few months to reapply, credit card reconsider rep said to apply then call in. I am at a loss, bad and inconsistent instructions given one after another. Is it worth bothering for at this point?
