I’ve been playing a ton of currency wars and one fun challenge i’ve been doing since 4.2 is currency wars nuzlocke, where I try to get as many wc40 clears in a row with different a main dps in each run. The only rules i set were: 1- the “main” dps must deal at least 60% of the teams DMG for at least 6 combat/encounter/boss nodes (or 4 for 5-cost units) to prevent wheelchairing. 2- the final boss must be attempted with that main dps (cannot swap to some other team on the last boss), and 3-if i ever fail a run or use the same dps twice during a streak, i have to restart the streak and all previously used main dps go back in the pool. Main dps that were already used during a streak aren’t banned and can be used in future runs as long as they aren’t used more than ur current main dps (ex. if im doing a sparxie main dps run and ive already done a sw999 run, i can still use sw999 during the sparxie run as long as: sparxie is used as the main-dps more than SW999 and used as main dps in at least 6 battles)(This does not apply to bond dmg). My current win streak is 23 and have been having a blast, if u want a little challenge and don’t feel like playing the same couple of comps, try it out.

- This tier list is based on my opinion after many runs of WC40 and with around 50-60 full clears (consisting of around 25-35 different comps). Most limited 5 stars were trial with some at e0s0 and 4 at e0s1 (The herta, saber, cipher, cerydra)

- This tier list isn't really a power ranking as character strength will vary drastically depending on your specific run (items, investment strategies, other RNG, etc), it's more based on how good characters are on average given a random run

- For character investment, i'm assuming all limited 5-star are trial and standard/free 5-star unit are at least decently built (talent 10 if relevant, decent relics/lightcones) at e0s0. Standard and shop 5-stars will also get a slight boost since eidolons are more accessible (if they have relevant early eidolons). Obviously, certain characters will be significantly better if you own them or have limited lightcones (like feixiao)

-Some characters and bonds like day demigod or phainon were difficult to rank due to several factors, so they might be more questionable

-Some characters and bonds could probably move up or down a tier (like break). If you have different thoughts regarding a certain character or bond, i would love to hear your reasonings as there are probably things i've missed. If you have questions regarding placements or teams, let me know!

A document containing a bunch of information that could be useful during a currency wars run. Most info in this doc are things that are hard to find online or information not accessible in game, including: general game mechanics that aren't fully explained, weird character mechanics like cyrene poems, bond rewards like cosmic scholar, enemy affixes, etc. This is just what i've managed to find at the moment though my testing so if you find a mistake or have ideas for things to add, let me know.
