My First UNIMATIC.
I just received the Modello Quattro UT-4 GMT and wow does it look sharp. I’ve been looking at this watch for quite a while, but I was able to find it new for $495, so that was the deciding factor.

I’ve been looking at the Brew Metric for a while, but I was really most interested in the watch when its on their teal suede strap. The strap has been out of stock for a while, so I told myself that I would hold off on the watch until the strap came back in stock. About a week or so ago I saw it reappear, so here it is. I just got it today, and first impressions are very positive.
I just got this watch yesterday, so today marks its first time being worn. It feels very comfortable, especially for a watch with these proportions. I don't have a large wrist, but the fit feels natural. This is my first watch with an inner rotating bezel, so I'm planning to use it as a second time zone indicator since I'm not a diver. Also, as a lefty, it's interesting to have most of the functional aspects shifted to the left.
I went to my nearest Swatch store and told myself that if they had the Saturn in stock, I would go ahead and get it. The salesperson told me they got restocked this morning, and he had already sold this model earlier today. It’s definitely a fun watch. I haven’t owned a Swatch in over 30 years.
I have a Invertor watch that appears to have a mechanical defect (I actually have an earlier post on this subreddit about the issue).
I was actually at the shipping store preparing to send my watch to the authorized service company when I checked to make sure I had the correct address. At that time I realized that Xeric has changed their service company to Lowen WG. The procedure now says to contact Xeric if you need to send a watch there.
I contacted Xeric, and they responded quickly asking some questions of a troubleshooting nature and I responded that I had indeed followed the instructions they were asking about. It’s been silent since then. I’ve written back asking for an update, and it’s still silent.
It’s disappointing since this is the most I’ve spent on a watch, and it was my first micro brand purchase. Has anyone had a successful experience with the new warranty procedures?
My first field watch. My first Undone watch as well.
