Official PACT expansions?

Frankly, I have next to no interest in playing NATO’s side of this story, and will only do so if I absolutely have to. With that in mind, how supportive is the game in letting you play, specifically, as communist soldiers? Are there official rules/weapon sheets/”adventures” for that?

Does the show ever address how eldritch it’s own premise is

**Every story a human has ever made** creates a new universe, and everything that happens in those stories happens to a real human being in the multiverse *because* of what’s written about them.

Per the internal logic of the setting, Kentaro Miura personally inflicted the events and world of Berserk onto actual people out in the multiverse who actually suffer because of what he created. ANY story darker than Peppa Pig has an actionable body count! Their creators are complicit in every single crime that’s happened to their characters!

Anyone else “roleplay” their pilots?

As in, change up their playstyle depending who they’re playing as- in my case, how I treat civilians.

When playing as non-spacers and generally anyone who wouldn‘t directly carry out Nanking on their own neighbors, I spam the horn around raincoats and generally avoid stepping on them or through houses out of combat, and opt to get my extra points through destroying (crucial) infrastructure and buildings that look abandoned or uninhabited (they aren’t). Generally, I have them act not good, per say, but in a way that assuages the conscience they possess enough to need assuaging, able to deflect responsibility and act like they didn’t step on anyone because they didn’t knowingly step on someone.

Spacers and spiritual spacers, however? Classic Brigador gameplay (genocide)

Genuinely cannot think of a more ideal (as in, functional, content, and admirable by undead standards) kindred than Ray Shoesmith from Mr. Inbetween

He is what every conscience possessing sheriff and hound aspires to be, an even better example of a high humanity, “moral” neonate than Hannibal Lecter. Infallibly friendly, a (warped) moral code that he sticks to no matter what, a good parent and husband, just an all around proper stand-up bloke if you set aside the murder for hire. I genuinely cannot think of a better ideal for the Kindred With A Code to live up to, a better exemplar of the high humanity Sheriff/Hound as a kind of legendary figure. Can you?

So besides Battletech, what are the NON Grimdark wargames that aren’t explicitly real-world or extremely adjacent

Because while Trench Crusade is endlessly fun in it‘s death-metal setting, part of Battletech’s fun to me as a setting is that it’s both its own unfamiliar future world and a setting where a large majority of people live normal, regular lives. I like the idea of my painted dipshits having something to go back to, talking like we do and thinking like we do
