Been eyeing this thing for awhile on Amazon but saw it on Temu for 100 bucks less. Can’t wait to put it together. It’s going to be huge at 40” long

I LOVED this build. There are some really cool techniques used and the color is amazing. There is some slight variations of color though between some pieces. Despite that, it’s probably my favorite set so far.

I’ve been using the original Schiit Jotunheim for close to 10 years now as a DAC/Amp combo. It has been great so far but I felt it was time for an upgrade. The improvement in clarity and detail brought on by the D900 was startling. It was immediately noticeable. Not that the DAC in the Jotunheim is bad but it’s nowhere near the level of the D900. For now the Jotunheim is acting just as an amp. Everything is so crystal clear and separated now. Some people don’t like that level of detail it seems but for me I love it. Games sound incredible with it as well.

I also picked up a pair of SJY Horizon Closed Carbon headphones. They are truly incredible in sound and even though they are closed back they still have an openness to their sound. The bass slam on them is intense when cranked though. Literally feels like they are pounding the side of my head. Perfect for bass heavy music like EDM, but still have the finesse to pull off acoustic and classical music. I also have the Hifiman Arya Stealth which I love for a lot of music but when I want bass I reach for the SJYs
