We got one but the little one set it down and lost it. More than willing to pay for it and not looking for any handouts.

Hello All!

I was fortunate enough to get a ticket for the upcoming World Cup match between Australia and Türkiye on June 13th.

I will be coming from Seattle, and my current plan is to drive north and park near the end of the Canada Line, probably around Richmond–Brighouse Station. The idea is to spend the day in the city, attend the match, then take public transit back to my car afterward and start the drive home.

It will definitely be a long day, but thankfully I will have friends and family with me so there will be no truck stop stimulant fueled driving marathons involved.

My main question is whether anything has been announced or discussed that could make this plan fall apart. Since the match starts at 9 PM, it sounds like public transit should still be running after the game ends, but I was hoping for any additional insight from locals.

Does parking near Richmond–Brighouse make sense, or is there a better station or park and ride option for getting in and out more easily? Any other tips or better ideas would also be appreciated.
