Gray cat? Orange cat?

Floyd likes to set on top of my amps, and I figured this sub would appreciate this pic. He is there with my Rockerverb, Rocker 15 Terror and my Supercrush. I love my Rockerverb and have had a blast recording tons of songs and ideas.

[NAD] - Rockerverb 100 MKIII and PPC212OB

Finally snagged my dream head: the Rockerverb 100 MKIII. This thing is loud! I took it to a rehearsal studio to play with a friend and I was very happy with the tone. I paired it with the Torpedo Two Notes Captor X I have at home to silently record all the tracks for my new EP that is coming out September 5th!

I have a PPC412, but decided to get a more portable PPC212OB so I don't break my back when moving my gear to a gig. Cannot recommend this pairing enough.

Happy to share my 8th solo release: Chungungo! You can listen here and grab a free download code here.

This album is my best work in terms of sound and composition so far. Expect a polished and complex sound built on searing guitars, a marching bass and extensive vocal harmonies. These tracks channel the energy of The Who alongside the complex layering of Faith No More and Queen.

Thematically, the album deals with the complexity of adapting to new environments: from the frustration of unemployment, to the sense of awe a badger cub feels when venturing into the wild for the first time without his mom.

The title alludes to a sea otter, endemic to Chile, and currently endangered. When I first saw them in person, I was mesmerized by how something so majestic could be at risk of disappearing. This tension drives the sonic identity of the album.

Most of the recording happened at a friend's studio back home in Chile, with all the vocal layering and mixing done at my personal studio in the Bay Area.

I hope you enjoy it!
