Do NBA players like living here or coming here on road trips?

I know LeBron big leagued us the other day, but do other NBA players generally like it here or visiting on road trips? I’m pretty curious on how the rest of the NBA views San Antonio as a city

Champagnie Appreciation Post

All the dude did was hit his shots when he was open. No BS, no dumb mistakes, no missed FTs, was pretty reliable.

Spurs have an opportunity to turn the narrative around

As much as everyone is clowning them right now they still have an opportunity to throw all that back in everyone’s face if they comeback and I hope the team comes out in game 5 with that mindset

What’s the best mental health facility in the San Antonio area?

I’ve been having a lot of trouble with chronic mental health issues lately.

If you can be so kind to recommend both emergency and non emergency outpatient services

At my wits end here regarding symptoms 6 months post inguinal hernia surgery

This constant nausea when I walk, abdominal bloating / swelling feeling, breathing is difficult as well.

No doctor has answers. Only one surgeon recommended nerve severing which doesn’t really take care of the bloating feeling

I had a colonoscopy and endoscopy which only said I had gastritis in the upper GI tract which is no where near my problem area.

Surgeon doesn’t know, pcp doesn’t know, GI doc doesn’t know

Here’s a list of symptoms, the most prominent I’ve had

Left lower abdominal swelling/fullness/pressure sensation
Nausea and dry heaving
Left groin and testicular discomfort
Gas, bloating, and trapped-air sensations
Raw/wound-like feeling near the hernia repair area
Shortness of breath and chest/throat tightness

Here are the rest of what I’ve been feeling

Less Common Abdominal / Pelvic Symptoms
Sensation of “air in the groin”
Feeling that the groin or abdominal wall is weak
Feeling of internal looseness around the repair area
Sensation that something is moving or shifting internally
Deep bruised feeling around the surgical area
Pain or irritation extending toward the hip bone
Feeling of abdominal “tightness” rather than swelling
Warmth around the lower abdomen during flares
Bowel / Rectal Symptoms
Anal/rectal irritation
Feeling of irritation inside the anus
Thin stools
Flaky stools
Small-volume diarrhea
Feeling of incomplete bowel emptying
Difficulty passing gas naturally (“having to force a fart”)
Feeling that intestines are spasming
Urinary Symptoms
Blood in urine (March 2026)
Bladder wall thickening noted on CT (possible cystitis)
Concern that urinary symptoms and abdominal symptoms were connected
Nerve-Type Sensations
Whole-body “nerve chill” sensation
Feeling like nerve symptoms were taking over the body
Electric-type sensations
Altered sensation/numb feeling around the surgical region
Sensations radiating into the leg
Feeling unable to clearly localize the discomfort
Head / Face Symptoms
Head pressure, especially behind the right eye
Migraine-like episodes
Dizziness
Feeling disconnected or dissociated during severe anxiety
Sinus congestion
Left nostril blockage
Throat / Mouth Symptoms
Taste you described as a “bacteria taste”
Tonsil stone taste
Throat burning
Excessive throat sensations despite minimal eating
Feeling that something is stuck in the throat
Skin / Temperature Symptoms
Feeling feverish without an actual fever
Internal chills
Sudden flushing
Body heating up during symptom episodes

Bloated feeling on Hernia Repair Side?

Hello. I made a separate post regarding my laparoscopic inguinal Hernia Surgery in early December of 2025.

I just want to follow up with once specific symptom I’ve been experiencing which has been confusing me.

I’ve been experiencing this bloating / swollen feeling on the side my repair was. I’m wondering what would cause this. My stomach isn’t visibly bloated but I feel a lot of pressure internally on the side of my repair around the incision area on the left side of my abdomen.

I do not feel it near the other incision spots just the left one.

If anyone has experience with this please share some info.

Has anyone documented their journey with complications via YouTube or a Blog?

I’m thinking of documenting my journey dealing with the complications I’ve been having via a Vlog or written journal for others to see.

Has anyone had success in doing this? Did it make things easier?

5.5 months after left inguinal hernia repair laparoscopic with mesh still having left sided abdominal pressure bulging sensation nausea and groin pain

30 years old male. Had laparoscopic left inguinal hernia repair with mesh in early December and I’m now about 5.5 months out still struggling physically and mentally trying to understand what’s going on.

Idk if I messed something up. I went back to work 3 weeks after I was operated on. I have a job that’s manual labor but it’s on the light side though I was still lifting going about my normal routine. I felt fine the 3 weeks after I returned from work, so idk if I aggregated something lifting heavy or what.

Since late January / early February I’ve been dealing with symptoms that fluctuate constantly. Everything has been on the left side. Some days I feel close to normal and other days I feel like something is seriously wrong again.

Main symptoms have been:

left lower abdominal pain and pressure

groin and pubic area pain/sensitivity

occasional left testicle discomfort

intermittent nausea that seems to come from the sensation in my left lower abdomen

burning or “paper cut” sensations near the groin/lower abdomen

weird nerve sensations into my pelvis and legs

a bulging/ballooning feeling in my left mid to low abdomen beneath and around the surgery scar

gas/fullness/pressure feelings that seem to move around left abdomen

trouble staying asleep because I wake up anxious or uncomfortable from the sensations

The hardest part is nobody seems to have answers. I’ve had CT scans, ER visits, follow ups, surgeon appointments, etc. and my surgeon basically told me he doesn’t think it’s the repair itself and isn’t sure why I’m still feeling this way.

The inconsistency is what really messes with me mentally. I can feel mostly okay for hours or even a day and then symptoms suddenly flare again. It’s made me spiral reading about mesh complications, nerve pain, adhesions, chronic pain, GI issues, occult hernias, and everything else online.

I guess I’m asking:

has anyone had symptoms this long after laparoscopic inguinal repair?

did it eventually calm down with time?

did anyone have symptoms that turned out NOT to be mesh complications?

At this point I just want my normal life back. Before surgery I was active, running, swimming, working out normally, and now I feel hyperaware of every sensation in my body.
