Hisoka will die to Illumi
This is somerhing that has been on my mind for quite a while. Because frankly, both Hisoka and Illumi feels to be too important to just die off in the whale ship. Illumi still have that Nanika plot, so it will make sense for him to continue living and goes to the dark continent with Kalluto to find out more about Nanika. On the other hand, there's Hisoka. He's just him, but him just dying in the ship feels kind of empty no? But then, after rereading, i noticed a loophole in their prenup.
"If he dies, i'll get paid"
That right there is the loophole. Since according to Machi, Hisoka was dead, literally dead, and then he revives himself. So technically, Illumi could kill him, and then Hisoka revives himself. Illumi won the bet, and Hisoka gets to live.
This could also make Hisoka one upping the troupe. If Illumi is the first one to get to Hisoka, kills him, then confirm his death to the troupe member, Hisoka can then take that chance to surprise attack the other troupe member.
Well that's just my theory, which im sure has been proposed countless times already, but ehh.
