Coworker got me a new accessory

A few of us bring our climbers to work on our slow days and try to climb whatever obstacles seems fun; rock hills, decorative river rock drainage ditches, pine cone covered hills (see 3rd pic)

But today my coworker got me truck nuts, they are hilarious and I had to show them off. Second Pic is without truck nuts but I had to show my Broncos good side, you may notice some scratches and missing side view mirror but that's what happens when you cartwheel down hills.

RC is just maintainence as a hobby and I like that

Only been doing this for 6 weeks, got addicted with hyper go bashers, decided to drop some real money on a traxxas trx4m, something slower I can't break as much (bashers been getting bashed) and immediately kill the servo by practicing getting upright from my side by going back and forth really quick and doing a hard left to right move. It worked like 90% of the time on the office carpet but ate the plastic servo gears.

Now I upgraded the servo and replaced the transmission gears with stainless ones, went ahead and did bearings while I was tearing everything apart and its been great. $375 into this thing and I still think its worth it, I find the maintenance

Metal gears for original servo or upgraded servo?

2nd day with this beauty and I stripped the large plastic gear inside the servo, i was able to flip it 180° and get right turns back but realize i will probably destroy it soon.

So I found the traxxas metal gear upgrade kit for $20 but I remember seeing on a reddit post that their are upgraded servos that are still water proof for around $30. So question is do I upgrade or swap?

In case your interested I was practicing recovering from the truck laying on its side while at work and getting really good at it but soon found out it puts wear on the servo once I couldn't turn right anymore.

Thanks for any help.

Beginner looking for opinions between TT-02 and Rlaarlo XTS-S10

Been into the hobby about a month and have driven/ broken/ repaired my mjx hypergo's 1/16 scale bashers and got ~$400 to spend.

The rlaaro seems to be everything I want but also looking at the tt-02 (subaru '99 monte-carlo), I like the tt-02 looks a little better but know I will need to put $200-$300 more to get it to where the rlaaro is and I'm not even sure that would cover waterproof electronics.

Other than just liking the look slightly more I feel like tamiya is the bigger brand with better parts sourcing in the future.

Basically just looking for opinions or something I may be overlooking. I mostly want it to take it to the bmx track and do some mild jumping and take it rallying out in the forest, although it will likely spend most time on my shelf being admired....
