I finally watched the latest Demon Slayer Movie and i got the say...

MY MIND IS BLOW AWAY. Prepare yourselves for a lifetime GLAZE!!

IDC WHAT ANYONE HAS TO SAY, KNY IS NOT ONLY CARRIED BY ITS ANIMATION!! THE MIND OF THE MANGA-KA IS INSANELY AMAZING AND I WANNA KISS IT!!

Listen!! No VILLAINS gave me chill like Demon Slayer's demons gives me CHIILLLS!! They EVIL, like NO EVIL IS MORE EVILER THAN THEM!!! I thought Miryam (its my name for him, don't poop your pants) and his gang from HxH were scary but Muzan and the upper moons are even MORE evil!! Or maybe they're on the same level!!

But listen AGAIN!! Idk who's the nutjob who started saying "DemOn SlaYEr iS CaRrIeD bY iTs aNImATiOn blabla" was spewing nonsense, NONSENSE i tell ya!! He thinks he was cool or something for starting this hate train because im pretty sure none of his favorite animes have good storylines 😤

And before u haters and no lives have something to say abt it, we don't care abt your opinion !!

Like there's nothing wrong with a good animation so Demon Slayer carries with both!!

The first time i ever watched Demon Slayer, i thought the concept was cool and the art was very different. The thought of going after the villain who killed your family to me was the start of a new adventure and ofc you have no choice but to cheer for Tanjiro cause he's a baby. But then i wasn't ready for the pure evil that was Muzan 😭 cause after Tanjiro had met him the first time, i thought "oh that's it? The anime is already over? Tanjiro is about to fight him and win right?"

WRONG

The demons Tanjiro had to fight already seemed too much for my poor boy and even for me who's always at the edge of my seat, that Demon Slayer might as well become One Piece 2.0 before he can even reach and hope to defeat Muzan.

Then the uppermoons got introduced and i thought to myself that "Rengoku is about to rock this demon's shit" cause you know, the strongest are always dropping one by one like in other animes?? 😀

WRONG AGAIN!

Not only did Akaza (poor guy) killed Rengoku but dude REFUSED to die after Tanjiro had beheaded him like HELLO??? DROP DEAD??? WHAT ARE WE DOING??? 😭

Going into the Movie now, i had NOTHING positive to think about. I literally went "they're all about to die, aren't they?"

And BOOM... the butterfly girl is the first one to go (i actually cried yooo cause that was crazy??)!!

I seriously thought she was gonna survive the severe damage she had taken because soo many before her had taken WORSE and survived (all crazy MCs who refused to die after getting beating to a pulp). So imagine my shock when Duma or Doma killed her and SWALLOWED HER??? HE HAS TO GOOOOO?????

And THAT'S what i love abt Demon Slayer, if a villain is evil, they're EVIL!! If a villain has a special selected strongest, they are STRONG!! Stronger than the good guys because they're EVIL!!

I still can't believe Shinobu went out like this!! I know Kanao will rock Doma or Duma's shit HARD!! Idc what his back story will be, i won't take pity on him, he NEEDS TO GOOOOO!!

Akaza's story tho 😢 that one got me real good :( now i understand, he hadn't willingly wanted to become a demon and his memories were lost after becoming one. Im glad he decided to come fight it and come back to himself

CAUSE HELLO, IF HE COULD KEEP REGENERATING LIKE THAT WHAT ABOUT WHEN KANAO WILL KILL THAT soab DOMA OR DOUMA????

I also liked the fact that, even tho i got a bit spoiled, i didn't hear anyone talk abt the movie, i just heard who was going to die but i didn't spoil myself with seeing any bits and parts of anything related to the movie for when i would watch it, the experience would be ruined for me. So im grateful i got to watching it not knowing who's abt to die, who's abt to NOT want to die, who's abt to KEEP REGENERATING.

The only things i heard was that Akaza had a wife...but he wasn't even married and that some demons had killed Zenitsu's grandpa but it wasn't even real 😭😭

So Demon Slayer 10/10 in general and the movie is 10000000/10 im traumatized

I thought i would never watch that show with what i heard about it, but nvm, in a moment of boredom and not knowing what to watch, i just started watching it, and here's my many cents

1. I don't understand why it won AOTY

Idk if it had won anime of year actually or Solo Leveling did or if it was another anime altogether but i remember seeing a short of this guy who makes anime videos abt the anime award and before the annoncer could accept it, Frieren and Jinu were already sending up to receive the award. It's funny to me because they're kinda the same thing but different. SL is more fast-paced, the mc wins all the time, Frieren is slower paced, and the mc always wins without a scratch.

But I honestly didn't understand the hype behind it as i thought the pacing was slow at first and thought it would pick up like when i first watched Dr. Stone, but it was still slow, and nothing major was happening, really.

When the demons first appeared, i thought "okay wow, they seem strong, i bet this fight will last for a while" and i usually don't like long fighting scenes where the mc and friends are on the verge of dying but can keep going but i was disappointed when the demons didn't seem to be that strong and Fern took down the "scariest" of the 3 but Stark was struggling like HE was the mc of the anime with the demon girl.

I was prepared to see all 3 of them struggle for a bit, but i didn't get that.

But Frieren's fight was savage to say the least 😭

The lack of emotions in this anime is funny and not funny. Idk if it's the new era or not, but Frieren's friends party seemed more lively, down to earth, and such, but then in the future... everyone's like monotone like. There were no big reactions like in ur typical anime where everything just surprises about everyone, and even when they'd be surprised, i wasn't sure if they were, especially Fern lol. Good thing they got Stark to react in all sorts of way for everyone. He's hilarious.

Fern was so cute when she was younger, but dang, she can be annoying at times. It's funny how quickly i went from being like "oh not again" to being like, "Fern is so cute." And the way she judges people quickly or respects them but can also lose respect for them the moment they do something wrong to be is even more funny.

2. Frieren

First and foremost, the first opening was SICK, a no-skip

Literally Sung Jinu woman version.

She is a mystery this one, and i just absolutely LOVE her character. One thing i don't understand is: Are Elves just born powerful or something? Don't they have to train? And even her training with Flamma i would have liked to see because to me, i can't even understand how she's that overpowered if she's not born like that. I know Flamma trained her, but is it because of Flamma and her adventures that she became so strong?

The glaze she was getting throughout the anime was something too 😅 people knew she was strong because their either fought her or knew she defeated the demon king, but no one was that surprised of her accomplishments? Like you know, the hero is about to shock everyone when that one person talks shit but no one talked shit abt her for me to have that "show them Frieren"

So are Elves just born strong since birth, and how do they die? By killing them because they will never die, right?

Also, I do think that Elves seem way more dangerous than the Demons they portrayed to being crazy bad. I thought they'd be strong and hard to defeat, but the ones they'd shown at the start didn't last long at all.

3. Himmel and Frieren

Okay, so... are Himmel and Frieren supposed to be in love or something? Cause if they are, then if i wasn't spoiled twice before and in the middle of watching it, it wouldn't seem like it. It just seemed that Himmel is someone who taught Frieren about life and how to be like a "human" , like to feel joy, to understand others, to enjoy everything in life... it seemed to me like someone she looked up to after understanding what he meant back when.

But that one time on a youtube short where they'd post some anime quizzes i liked the play, there was one for Frieren that i had gotten right without even watching the anime and it was probably like 2 - 3 years ago and at that time it was like the talk of the "town" i will also never forget the prompt : "I traveled all the way to heaven just to see and tell my bestfriend i love him" something along those lines and recently, while being in the middle of the show i saw something on tiktok and i think it was romance animes or couples something like that... but it was different types of love, like "love at first sight / first love / second love / bl /right person wrong time / forbidden love..." etc. And i think Frieren and Himmel's were "right person not enough time" something like that.

So i was wondering if it's Canon or just a ship? Like the manga-ka said, they're supposed to be in love or if people just like to ship them due to Frieren's past memories. And i can't forget abt what Himmel did in order to give Frieren that ring (he did the most, that was not necessary oh my goosh but i was like this the whole time 🙈) but i chose to just ignore it cause he gave me mixed feelings... at times, it felt like Frieren was a child he found somewhere, at times just a friend like the others, at times a reason for him to flirt... but im so sorry that's so strange if he likes her cause of she's way too old for him.

Like the goatee priest said she's like a grown child, something like that?

Himmel is extremely charming too (dub version)

Do you guys like it when 5000000 years olds have a kids face or are just young? It irks me, because it just feels like they're justifying making a character look like a kid but just because they're 500+ years old, it makes them "legal adults" . Just make an old lady or atleast someone old not a petite, small, kid face person who overpowers everyone.

It was okay and unexpected too.

Funny how even with context, this scene is still unjustifiable 😅
