Hi friends and fellow wordscapers.

I have made a decision to quit Wordscapes, this is my farewell message.🩵

It has been a pleasure working with FightingTiger aka u/casteellaw55 for many years. He’s taught me so much and kept me calm and sensible when things got crazy, defended me when it was needed and held me accountable. Thank you FT🐯🥰 you’re an awesome human. (He is the reason we have the Tiger photo on the sub.).

u/Jazzy2536, Thank you for your mod help. You’ve been a great addition to our little mod team.🥰🐺

I’ve been on the sub-Reddit since close to its inception, and I was able to read all the way to its beginning. There has been so much history, eventfulness and fun times to keep us busy. Glitches, special events, syncs, players who worked out the Brilliance Formula! Players who dreamed up leaderboards and their systems. The quirks in the game were discovered and shared by so many smart, generous people.

In moderating it we endeavoured to keep the sub family friendly, swearing and cheating info gets deleted. Spoilers are disallowed or marked as spoilers. Recruitments have the flair added. We hope that the sub-reddit remains a mostly positive place.

There are too many others to mention, and if I try I’ll miss people out, so that will have to suffice. Thanks everyone!! 💙💗💙

💠 I’ve played on many teams over years but kept that information obscured on the sub-Reddit to avoid blowback if/when I made mistakes. All are great teams and I learned something from their players and all of their Team Leaders. They are; Wordwrights, Moonrise, PersonaNonGrata, MorrisonHotel, Can of Words, Rollin…, and most recently, OwlStars. I can recommend any and all of these teams!

As for replacing me, it should be seamless. There are so many well-informed individuals on the sub. u/OCCobblepot will be one. He’s already well respected here. 🥰🐧 Another is u/DisillusionedPie, also known and well respected. I will be available during the transition.

I won’t delete the Smothra ID but I’ll sign out and let it go dormant in time. My posts and comment history will stay more easily accessible that way.
