This new Grey Knights Special Edition looks beautiful!
Have to have the right screensaver on the rare occasion I have read my Night Lords books on my Kindle:)
Still building my custom bookcase:)
As the title says and some of you may know, I’ve just finished False Gods and have read Horus Rising and The Infinite and The Divine. That being said, I’d love some recommendations as to what I should read next while waiting for my Galaxy in Flames to arrive. The picture is what I can physically grab from my library to start reading tonight.
Please let me know what you think! I love this community and I know none will steer me wrong!
Mods obviously please remove if not allowed. I’m unsure what my current ratio is for comments to promotion.
Hey fellow Night Lords! I botched this rebinding of Lord of the Night. Front cover is obviously not lined up..🥲 I figured I’d post it on here before anywhere else if it’s allowed. I’d sell it for a decent price. PM if you’re interested!
Also let me know if it’s any good and y’all like it!!!
If I don’t finish it…I’m a failure to the Emperor…
I just finished both of these short stories whilst on my Horus Heresy journey and they were great! I highly recommend them to new HH readers. Read them directly following Horus Rising. They’re great prequels of sorts to HR.
The Wolf of Ash and Fire - Horus Lupercal and The Emperor fight side by side on the ork planet Gorro.
Death of a Silversmith - Outlines the creating of the Mournival Rings and the Lodge Coins mentioned in HR.
Edit: Now onto False Gods on my 14 hour flight to Tokyo:)
Some arrivals over the past couple weeks I just got pictures of:)
And it’s nothing short of perfection! My friend did an amazing job and I’ll be working with her in the future for other rebinds. Took a little inspiration from Konrad of course:)
I have become absolutely obsessed with Warhammer recently (yes I’m the one that just read Horus Rising as my second ever book and loved it:) I’m a physical book collector so this hobby will get expensive but I don’t care.
The Night Lords are one of my favorites because they initially introduced me to Warhammer in 2015. So rightfully so, I acquired both of these books and had the Omnibus rebound in leather by a friend (who I will work with in the future) to match the aesthetic of Konrad.
I will continue to update my fellow Warhammer librarians on my finds and rebinds as well as the handmade victorian gothic bookshelf I’m in the process of making:) Good luck to my fellow collectors!
It was the best damn book I’ve ever read! Finishing it resulted in so many complex emotions that I stared at the ceiling for about an hour recounting what had just happened. I already have False Gods and will obtain Galaxy in Flames, Flight of the Eisenstein, and Fulgrim in the near future. I’m a physical book collector and I’m preparing myself for financial hardship:)
I began my Warhammer journey 15 years ago at 15 years old when I read Soul Hunter in 2011. I just now got back into it and I’m kicking myself realizing what I’ve been missing out on for over a decade. Yet the excitement and nostalgic feelings I’m getting are unmatched that I’m willing to overlook the past mistake and forgetfulness. I’m obviously a big Night Lords fan based off Soul Hunter so long ago so I can’t wait to dive into the lore and reading surrounding that faction. (I’m using the search function on this Reddit forum to answer my questions and get reading orders…)
I’m already designing a gothic/victorian bookcase for a room in my house (I do blacksmithing and woodworking:), looking up paint schemes, designing a couple Forgotten and Purged Legion “books” for the 2nd and 11th primarchs for my bookshelf. Maybe burnt wood to look like books with steel wrappings/art. Idk I’m rambling now. This hobby has taken hold of me!
Wish me luck in my journey fellow Black Library lovers. I will post Black Library pictures and future creations in the near future!
This is my very first hook ever! I’ll keep it forever and continue to improve. I think it took about 5 or 6 heats lol. Probably too many:) I love blacksmithing as a hobby and I can’t wait to have more time to make more hooks and other creations. Smith On comrades!
