BitLife Suggestions

BitLife should add a much deeper social, family, education, and sports system to make the world feel more realistic. Players should be able to create friend groups with 3 to 12 people, including themselves, allowing them to manage entire friend circles instead of only individual relationships. The game should also make other characters experience life events just like the player does. If your little brother gets sent to juvie for a year, for example, you shouldn’t be able to interact with him normally until he’s released. Instead, his profile could show that he’s currently in juvenile detention, and your only options would be visiting him, sending letters, making phone calls, or attending court hearings. The game could provide updates on how he’s doing, whether he’s staying out of trouble, earning an early release, or getting additional time. The same system should apply to parents, siblings, friends, spouses, and children. If your dad is sentenced to six years in prison, you should have to visit him or write to him rather than interacting with him as if nothing happened. Family members and friends should also be able to get married, move away, lose jobs, get arrested, start businesses, or experience other major life events that affect your relationship with them.

Travel and vacations should also be expanded. Players should be able to plan road trips and vacations, choose who gets invited, decide how long the trip lasts, and determine who is paying for it. Not everyone should automatically agree to go. Some people may refuse because they are busy, don’t get along with another guest, or cannot afford their share of the trip. Players should be able to pay for everyone, split costs, or ask specific relatives to contribute. During trips, random events such as family arguments, bonding moments, car breakdowns, missed flights, surprise engagements, and other memorable experiences could occur, creating unique stories and affecting relationships.

Education also needs a major overhaul. Instead of generic schools, every child should attend an actual school based on the district they live in. Once players reach middle school age, around 12 years old, they should be able to apply to and attend schools across the city instead of being limited to their assigned district. Daycare should also be added for younger children. School should have a much bigger impact on a character’s life, with actual grades, report cards, academic rankings, attendance records, and the possibility of being held back a grade for poor performance. Excelling in school could unlock scholarships and advanced opportunities, while poor grades could create challenges that affect future career paths. This would make childhood feel like an important part of the game instead of something players quickly age through.

Sports careers should be expanded far beyond simply becoming an athlete. Players should be able to become coaches and work their way up through the ranks, starting with little league teams, youth travel teams, 7-on-7 football programs, middle schools, high schools, colleges, and eventually the professional level. Reaching the NFL, NBA, or other major leagues as a coach should be extremely difficult and require years of success, championships, strong leadership, and a proven track record. Players should receive job offers, interview with teams, build coaching reputations, recruit talent, and make career decisions that affect their chances of moving up. Athletic careers should also include realistic tryouts where players can attempt to earn roster spots instead of automatically following the current path. These additions would create a true sports journey and make becoming a legendary coach or athlete feel like a major accomplishment.

Finally, BitLife should improve customization by adding more hairstyles, more realistic car models, and additional ways to personalize characters and their lives. Together, these features would make the game feel like a living world where everyone has their own story instead of a world that only moves when the player does.

I’m trying to add role icons to my Discord server, and I keep running into issue after issue. I know this is probably simple for people who’ve been managing servers for a while, but I’m still learning this side of things.

I’ve been on Discord for about 3 years, but mostly just joining servers and chatting. Around 11 months ago, I started setting up servers for Roblox games, and I feel like I’ve gotten pretty decent at it. Still, there are a lot of features I don’t fully understand yet.

Right now, my main problem is adding role icons. At first, it mentioned something about my Apple subscription. I canceled that, but now I’m getting a different message and I don’t really understand what it means. This is my first time dealing with Nitro and server boosts, so I’m a bit lost on how everything connects.

For context: I already have Nitro and I’ve boosted my server until May 18th (today is April 30th). I wanna add the icons even if I gotta boost again, which I will do if that’s the problem, but I don’t even know what the issue is. It’s just showing stuff like what’s in the picture below.

If anyone can explain what I actually need to do or what I’m missing, I’d really appreciate it.
