I’ve been job hunting pretty aggressively lately (about to be laid off) and started wondering if checking the “protected veteran” box is actually hurting my chances of getting interviews.
I know companies say they’re equal opportunity employers and some actively recruit veterans, but part of me wonders if some employers see “protected veteran” and make assumptions or just move on to another candidate.
I know the job hunting market is shit, and I’m in a saturated area (Denver) so trying to figure out if this is all in my head or if anyone else has experienced it.

Considering getting carryout this mother day breakfast instead of going to town with the family. Anyone know any good restaurants that would be a good option for this?
