I FINALLY BEAT EX THUNDERLORD ZINOGRE!!!!!

Never took so many tries for another deviant. I tried so many weapons and builds. I just took adept dual blades for fun, I’ve never used this weapon combination before and normally don’t play dual blades at all but it worked. Only 5 more to beat!

SW Deck list and my experience with this deck

u/SayapKiri has asked me for a deck list. but then I thought that it was just a basic deck list. Since I played the deck for a bit, I wanted to share my experience with the deck and what it can do.

The game plan I was following is to set up at least one Saneikeitsu Invitation and get a lv4 (preferably Hakubamon) ready in in breeding. Then you need 2 lv5 (1 Sanzomon) and 2 lv6 Digimon in hand. It depends on the opponents deck which lv6 you want but imo Takutoumon and Erlangmon should be the go to.

The combo is the following: you digivovle into Sanzomon, use the effect to to take the top security. This allows you to use the 2nd effect which lets you play a digimon for a reduced cost of 2. With this you play a lv5 that uses digixros for a total cost of 3. Then use the egg to digivovle Sanzomon into a lv6 for a cost of 1. Then use the on play of the other lv5 to gain alliance and attack. Then use Saneikeitsu Invitation to digivolve the other lv 5 into a lv6 too. This combo in total takes 7 memory and can be done from any position without the turn passing before the combo is finished.

This combo has different variation depending on the cards available. You can replace Sanzomon for any lv5 if you have Genshi Continent & Ashino Island face up in security. In this case you raise your lv4, play a lv5 with digixros for a cost of 5 then use the egg to digivovle your lv4 into a lv5 for a cost of 1, then use the effect of the played lv5 let the other gain allaince and attack. When attacking you use Genshi Continent & Ashino Island to digivovle your attacking lv5 into a lv6 for a cost of 2 and at the end use Saneikeitsu Invitation to digivovle the other lv5 into a lv6 as well. This costs in total 8 memory, but only 6 if you have Hakubamon as lv4 to reduce the play cost of the lv5 by additional 2 memory.

If you have multiple Saneikeitsu Invitation on field you can do the second combo for a cost of 4 with Hakubamon as lv4 without Genshi Continent & Ashino Island.

As I said before, I would go for the 2 lv6 with Erlangmon and Takutoumon. In the turn you are doing the combo you get 2 tokens which both have blocker and 1 has guard, de digi 2 one of your opponent digimon and give -6k DP and then can bottom deck their lowest DP Digimon. Really powerful removing effects. But the good thing is the interaction you get in your opponents turn. When they try to remove any of your Digimon, Erlangmon plays out a lv5 or lower Digimon from its sources or from the hand. This will then Trigger both Takutoumon and Erlangmon effects to de digi 2 + -6k DP and to bottom deck the lowest DP Digimon. Unfortunatly their removal effects are mandatory. So the opponent still has a chance of playing around it a bit. When the opponent decides to attack, Takutoumon has as counter effect that plays out another token which will also trigger their removal effects. So in total really hard board to deal with.

Now if you have a Saneikeitsu Invitation set up on the field on your opponents turn you can digivovle the lv5 digimon that you play out with Erlangmon into another lv6. That in addition can be game ending. This option card is by far the most important piece for your game plan. Even when your field got wiped out, with 1 Saneikeitsu Invitation you can just digixros a lv5 for a play cost 5 and go into a lv6. For this Nezhamon is especially good since it has rush and engage to attack at the end of turn to then collision into a digimon while having at least 16k DP and being unaffected by digimon effects. Then unsuspends after the piercing check and is ready to block 2 atacks.

Seitengokuumon is a bit akward to use since you need 3 the different lv5 digimon in trash. As game ender or back up plan to wipe a field it is really strong but unfortunately you can not digivovle into it with Saneikeitsu Invitation. Same with Susanoomon, it was really made with the intention of being used in TB. In SW you can only use Susanoomon to assembly it and give like -15k to the opponents board without being able to attack like in TB. If you want to attack with it you need a lv6 with the lv2 egg in sources, play a lv5 with digixros, use the egg effect to digivovle the lv6 into Susanoomon the the played out lv5 gives Susanoomon alliance and lets it attack. Can be strong but I think I prefer to play 2 Seitengokuumon and 0 Susanoomon. Or maybe you know another way to use Suanoomon in this deck?

The funny thing is Susanoomon both counters the SW and TB deck pretty badly. It wipes the fields and in reaction both deck can play out things but these get deleted immediatly after because Susanoomons DP reduction lasts for the whole turn.

Wow, I wrote a lot. I hope people will still read it lol. Thanks for your attention.
